hehe.yeah, we went back to the hostel to get my passport and got to the venue during Alcest's 1st song, thank heavens. still pretty bummed about not seeing Fjoergyn tho because i kinda mainly came for them (i'm aware not many people are into 'em and everyone i asked about their performance were like "ew they sucked",haha).too bad we didn't get to meet inside as well.

Yooooooo! Will be touring with Revenant Dead soon - I'll let you know! Varsity was good dude,I just think for live Citalopram you should maybe try beat slicing, get a few drum loops going too. That way you can have your mad pedal skillz as well as something with a tempo to it. Maybe we could do a versus thing some time? I have a MAD few noise machines I made, one of which can build a beat purely out of crunchy as fuck noise sounds. Let me know if you're interested :P

Hahaha, fair enough. CoB are power metal. You should find an instrumental version of a CoB song somewhere; ask someone to play it with the sound of 'heavy metal' wailing over the top and see if anyone then thinks it's not power metal. People's problem (amongst everything else) is that they define a band either by its vocals, or by the culture it is lumped into.

I think you should give up on the "Cradle of Filth are blacker than black willies" debate, man. They are, but really you can't reduce the sound to a few fixed characteristics to argue the point. Actually, just argue it's a "blackened, symphonic Iron Maiden rip-off riffs with paradise lost and Morbid Angel influences" and leave it at that.
