It was Dulli's bday as well, good ambiance indeed... Echo was good, a bit cold in the end - they were just about to do the second encore and finally didn't - a bit odd...the audience was not very very hot I guess - the music was fantastic though...Ian's voice was incredible especially after smoking one cigarette after the other :) don't have tix for Foxes - I think I will skip that one..

Last week Echo and the Bunnymen and Greg Dulli and cie. were all great concerts. Dulli is such an entertainer. heheh - loved that concert!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your job, hope you are coping! The fancy Heimat book of dvd's looks real nice - but it doesn't have subs, right? A beautiful, but also melancholic fever... Just moved to a larger appartment in a cooler neighbourhood with the boyfriend, and I'm applying for this 3-year songwriting course at the danish music conservatory, so things are very exciting at the mo... And for some reason it all got me in a Heimat mood, so I recently bought H. 2 and started to watch it again - (wo)man! I can never get tired of that series! Woven hand were great. They're even louder live than on cd, and the singer keeps sitting on his chair looking half-possessed during the entire show. Add to that a small sold out club and you'll know it must have been intense. This gig was much better than the one time i saw them before, but that's maybe just because i knew more of their songs by now. If you get a chance to see them, you definitely should!
