I think I grew an addiction. In high school, I'd fall asleep to it, I carried that habit on into college (necessary when you had a roommate) I've sort of kicked myself out of it now. I listen when I'm riding my bike or walking into town but I make sure I keep etiquette by taking my headphones off when I enter shops so as not to seem too anti-social. When I'm in my room, doing homework or washing my laundry in the sink (modest mouse is my launder music it seems). Sometimes I may not even listen and it's just background noise that keeps me going at a tempo. Oh and the gym. I really need to listen to my own music at the gym otherwise it sucks.
