I think the point Roger's making with the Chiang reference is that there are various countries in the West who supported Chiang's dictatorship in Taiwan and helped prop it up, thus making them kind of hypocritical in condemning the Tiananmen Square massacre when they backed a similar authoritarian regime.

I'm not sure Roger is treating Mao positively, activewaste... All that's mentioned in the song is that he kicked Chiang out of China. And, really, considering what a murderous fuckcunt Mao turned out to be, the only thing that changed is how many Chinese people were tortured and starved to death and murdered.

This is perfect in showing how we in the west "feel" for people outside the western hemisphere for their struggles. Wow, perfect breasts and student of philosophy, sounds like a perfect girl. Even though I supports Roger's hatred in the song towards Chiang Kai-shek, a horrible person, then although I am left-wing too, I do reckond, that Mao Tse-tung (whom Roger treats positively) is equally as horrible.

IMO, "The Wall" was the LAST great classic rock album. Dark Side of the Moon was the BIGGEST classic rock album, The Wall was the LAST.
