New album is immense. I love the edge of feedback playing by Isaiah, letting it leak in like sustain. Reminds me of Jimmy Herring.

I am ready to yet again make the facial expression of jetting through the cosmos while listening to the new album. "Death to the Red Run" is awesome.

When you say someone is boring, sometimes the boring is just yourself. Earthless: I never get tired of listening.

They're more interesting live, if you can imagine watching all of that "jamming" unfold, but yeah, I never really listened to an album more than twice.

I mean, they're a very jammy band, and the guitarist is pretty good. You saying they get boring just tells me your eyes/ears glaze over 5 minutes in (and just so we're clear, I have no vested interest in this, I'm not talking down to you). Maybe give Black Heaven a listen, it's more focused.

From the West is scorching. Isaiah obliterates all. Modern live albums tend to be antiseptic, but this one has an impressive ragged urgency.

Last Earthless was awesome, but now it's time to do something for Golden Void!

I have always loved Earthless for their never-ending instrumental jams so that, in the beginning, I was a bit skeptical about their new album. But holy moly! Earthless have not lost a jot of their exceptionality with 'Black Heaven'. Their interaction is still flawless and makes this album such a highly energetic and simply breathtaking 40-minute trip. Especially the versatility of Isaiah Mitchell's guitar playing just blew me away.

With the vocal I was expecting the new album to sound a bit like Isiah's other band 'Golden Void', but I think that's a bit more laid back. The musicality is pretty flawless and for me I think the Instrumental title track still stands out . Album of the year contender I reckon.

Album of the year contender for sure! Besides, I think that "Sudden End" does in fact sound quite similar to Golden Void - which is not bad at all - and it rounds off the album in a very smooth and lovely way. Nonetheless, I think that "Electric Flame" is the song that reminds me the most of their driving instrumental jams.

Yes. I like their music when I drive, when I drink, when I relax, when I go to bed, when there's hate in me, etc.

Right now one of the most inspiring bands in rock music. From the Ages is a promising album and their live performances are even better than the studio stuff.
