As for what I've been up to, I actually just started a couple summer classes, so that way my last year as an undergrad won't be too intense. So I should be able to get my Bachelor's degree in May of '14. :)

LOL. Now I feel embarrassed for just now seeing your reply! Well, it's probably for the best tbh. Less time on TRF=less insanity. I can testify to that lol! Spanish test, eh? How'd it go? If I was paying attention, I could've helped you! I've been taking Spanish classes for nine years now!

I like it actually. It's definitely more radio friendly, but there is a lot less filler. It's also probably her most consistent album as well. I know she like dabbling in different sounds, but when an album's cohesive, it makes for a great listen. I feel like this era is about showing a softer/gentler side to Xtina. The Bionic Era turned her into a raging sexual robot and it turned the public off. Lotus is all about having fun and showing some vulnerability, two things that were missing from Bionic. The material here might not be as strong as her past work, but its better than a lot of other pop music out right now, especially the ballads. I feel like the ballads are very pretty and she doesn't over sing too much.

Koda Kumi (倖田來未) is mainly pop/dance, but with an RnB/HipHop flair. Think along the lines of Xtina as far as her music/sound goes. She is also known as the "Queen of Live" because of her vocals. She's been in the business about 10 years and has sold around 15 million albums in Japan alone. As you can see, she's my fave. She's sexy, fun, and has an amazing stage presence. Some songs I recommend for a J-pop beginner would probably be... VIP - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr_fnL0dXdE&feature=related Taboo - https://vimeo.com/25479025 Ecstasy - https://vimeo.com/25204801 Juicy - https://vimeo.com/24344518 DDD - https://vimeo.com/21816097 Hopefully, I didn't overwhelm you lol. If you like Kuu's stuff, then I can show you more. If you don't then I can suggest stuff from the other gorls who all have their own distinct sound and image.

"1. Who's the gurl in your avi? 2. Recommend me some of those Asian gurls you're into." Gurl, that is like music to my ears! Well, the girl in my avatar is Koda Kumi (she scrobbles on last.fm as 倖田來未 tho). And she is one of the four main J-pop divas. The others are Namie Amuro (安室奈美恵), Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎あゆみ), and Utada Hikaru (宇多田 ヒカル). They are equivalent to what Lady Gaga, Britney, and Beyonce are to the rest of the world. I'm gonna break this into a few different posts, so I don't make it look like one long essay lol.

Laying down on Britney? I would never. She is, and always will be, my original fave. <3
