rec me some tunes

nice, i might have a few shows starting in november, will be sure to post any upcoming dates once its finalized!

np m8, anytime

Ive got the 3 albums they did with zola jesus, maria minerva and matrix metals and the split with psychic reality, and if you like that sound you should check out some of maria minervas solo stuff too. I'll upload a bunch this afternoon

hi m8 how you doing. going deep into FSOL is a great idea. I suppose you could go chronologically & see how they developed, theyve done a load of different stuff. I guess Id say the essentials are Accelerator, at least one of Lifeforms, Dead Cities and Tales of Ephidrina which are all similar in style, ISDN which is made from live performances streamed to radio stations and is a different style, probably because of the limits of the tech they had available in 94, one of Peppermint Tree and Alice in Ultraland for their psych rock stuff and Woodlands of Old which is kind of unique in their discog

You are skeleton jelly.

Lucrecia Dalt is awesome thanks m8

but you question marked

oh never mind

no i am not exactly wealthy

Where to start with robbie basho

thanks. and nothing, except sometimes boating

i wrote a really in-depth review of it if you're interested.

I'll take your word for it. And I dunno. Maybe David Thomas Broughton would be up your alley but it seems like a guy you already know. Same with Jim O'Rourke.

name sounds famliar

changez les blockeurs

wow sorry for the super late reply, I havent been looking at last much recently. Ive been listening to a lot of Muslimgauze recently, I liked a couple of his albums for ages but always got put off by the size of his discog but it turns out I like pretty much whatever album I listen to. Islajas new album was p cool too but bleepy and I still prefer her acoustic stuff. oh and Niobe too, someone recd me Voodooluba which was nice and I still have to go through some more of her albums I dl'd

anything youve heard to give me reference? wanna try to give the best rec possible. but have this for the time being http://astronautico.bandcamp.com/

well if you're not going to stop at least tell me what your AOTY was

your taste isn't that terrible but i'll punish you regardless

check out Natalie Rose Lebrecht

I'm already familiar with Hala Strana but I suppose I'll check out the other one if it will get you to stop pestering me

wow, you really think so?! that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me

Try out [album artist=The Mantles]The Mantles[/album] or [album artist=Bleached]Ride Your Heart[/album]

exactly. i really hope someone figures out a cure soon because this really sucks

very likely if u ask me. its like the flu i think

I'll check them all out, thanks!

i feel like i am

I love both of those too. My Bees Garden is a lot like M'sEC of course but without the electric guitar/Kevin Parkery bits. Blue Roses is great, such a beautiful album if you like twee folky stuff.

np m8, hope you like some of it. with Stereolab & Francoise Hardy in your library Im p sure you'll like Melodys Echo Chamber

whoa i know that feel, sorry to hear. how did they break? usually most of my pairs break by one of the sides cutting out, but thats due to being neglected

what sort of headphones did you break?

Search for "B L A C K I E Gen (2009) [V0]" on Filestube, and you should find it.

Yep, polish Napszykłat, polish abstract noisy hip-hop. They're fucking great. Also, kIRK - polish nu jazz/illbient/something strange and polish Osjan, freak ethnic avant folk. Have fun.

Nope, but interesting tags, gonna check out soon. Thanks, mate.

Going to try some of your artists, some sound very interesting!

Oh great man I'll check it out. Also >Peter O'Toole. He's one of my favourite actors and Lawrence of Arabia is one of my favourite films, good choice for a profile picture ;)

your taste in music seems very different from my own. Can you suggest some artists that you truly love listening to.

Yeah I was only gonna go for a few of their albums, and then I saw on rutracker "entire discography"... now I have a lot of albums to get through ;) I dunno man, maybe some sound I probably wont have heard before, got something like that?:D

I don't have anything constructive to yell :( OHW8: Sun City Girls- recently got into them and 330,003 has become one of my top albums, give it a try if you haven't already!

If you haven't heard Alvarius B, John Fahey, Jack Rose, Six Organs Of Admittance, Visitations or Larkin Grimm yet, they're all worth worth trying.

I had a great time with Deceit, it's an incredibly creative and original album. thanks for the rec!

No problem, did you enjoy it or is it just going in the backlog? I'm finding it hard to say what I'm looking to get into... Obviously there's a lot of stuff I like that I haven't gotten around to, but I can't put my finger on something I'm not into already that I'm interested in. Picked out [artist]Pinkshinyultrablast[/artist] from your library to check out later. What do you want to get into? Or does being always interested mean everything?
