Yes I have listened to Un Corazon de Nadie and I definitely agree with you! Man I need to check the music scrobbled in your library cause I know just a bunch of names in your top 50 and you are talking nicely about Autechre and ORL...this is not good...

oh yeah man great song and great video. if you get the chance you should check out Listener's album Wooden Heart. those would be my favourites of theirs too although i like all of them really

It was ok...not as great as previous years, but still easily good enough to justify me going! More than Life will be awesome. Though Killswitch is a bit of an odd headliner...it seems to me that Hevy are moving further away from punk and closer to metal. Yeah I heard, I'll mis the animal park! apparently they're having problems finding a venue too :( Yeah the reading announcement was a bit rubbish...lock-up has been ruined :( not really too sure I want to go anymore..

You are very welcome. I tend to buy Best Ofs of bands I want to get into but don't really know where to start. Once I love the Best Of I start buying all sorts of albums of that band to "fill the gaps" and get access to the songs I didn't know from the Best Of. I often end up loving those new songs even more than those I had known from the Best Of for a longer time. Quite an interesting way of getting into a band more and more, I think! With BB King you CANNOT go wrong with the recommended album. It is a nice little package with an awesome booklet, etc.

Folie a deux was one of my least favourite! I wish I saw fob before they released folie a deux. Think they're main headliners are don brick, bit rubbish. But title fight are playing! Also looking forward to landscapes, departures, gnarwolves, hundredth, stick to your guns, and sonic boom six! Though I doubt I'll be able to see them all...still need to plan my day haha

I haven't listened to There Is a Hell in a while, might have to hear them back to back to properly compare. Its still really good, and Im definitely catching a more 'cohesive' feel to it. Hard to say if I can find a weakest link track as of yet, which I think is good. Gonna blare Deftones all day today though, you? :<

I didn't even make it in the end :( I drank a little too much, sad times! haha ah well, I ought to be going to Hit The Deck next weekend, so I'll make up for it then! No I haven't....and I'm not sure I want to, it might ruin FOB for me! It's all about their debut album tbh, and after that they just got worse and worse and worse.

With BB-King you best go for some kind of Best of if you ask me. I bought "His definitive greatest Hits" some time ago and I am totally happy with the quality and the number of songs. Go for that, I'd recommend it.

I still really haven't given it enough of a listen! Haven't listened to BMTH properly in a long time. Yeah there is quite a lot of Gnarwolves hype atm, seeing them tonight at facedown in fact!

Been scrobbling the new BMTH album a lot I see. How you liking it so far?

They don't put on that many gigs, but when they do, they're pretty good. They're all small up and coming bands, normally tend to be on tangled talk/big scary monsters. Yep, never heard of that one! Outside of major cities like london, small promotion companies really don't tend to do that well! sad :( Too many O2 academies and various HMV venues. I've heard of Bring the noise somehow...not sure how, but oh well! I'm in love with The Story So Far and Gnarwolves atm! both kind of gruff pop-punk/melodic hardcore, and Gnarwolves are literally just playing everything! what about you?

Yeah I know Witney. Oxford is much better :) Yeah, easy to miss out on things, but it's a small complaint since we do get the best gigs and have the best venues...and just the best music scene :). I don't know if you've ever heard of 100% mosh promotions, they're based in oxford and are mostly 'hardcore'. They've put on Bastions, goodtime boys and Gnarwolves that I know of.

Ah right, I'm at UCL. I know, so many gigs, too many though. The worst thing about live music in London is there are quite a lot of clashes and things sell out so much quicker here than anywhere else :'( No way! I'm from Oxford haha. Where abouts are your parents from? The metal scene is Oxford is...ok....There's like skeletor promotions, and i know a couple of the guys from crysis too, went to my school haha. I'm more into the hardcore though, though that scene is also slowly growing...ish too.

Yeah I don't think they have played in a while. Didn't they do a couple of shows at underworld a few years ago? haha well I live in Camden, I can walk to every venue!! :D you live in Reading then? was going to go to the Cancer Bats date there, but I don't think I can now :(

Just realised I'd already mentioned Bad Religion/NOFX rumour, I'm obviously a little excited about that rumour :( But honestly...I'm not that sure about Dance Gavin Dance, I listened to them when I was younger like..briefly. You?

So good! Not too fussed about Hatebreed tbh, seen them at Reading, wasn't impressed. LOVE Comeback Kid...but they are touring the UK like....twice in the next month, and playing london twice, with propagandhi and then headlining the underworld :/ Horse the Band will be awesome though (UK exclusive too) do love the Menzingers and Tigers Jaw too, but there are definitely so many bands I'm going to need to check out on that line-up soon! I've heard rumours of Bad Religion/NOFX headlining :O

ACK hevy announcement postponed :'( sad sad times. Though it's meant to be an awesome announcement, I've heard rumours of NOFX AND Bad Religion, though I really can't see both of them playing in addition to Black Flag.

Yeah, you always live in fear at Reading that when you return to your tent it might be a pile of ash! Yeah it's true, I just spend almost all of Reading hovering around lock-up stage anyway. Yeah, i'm the same, not enough people like lock-up :'( hehe I was like that 2010, I was SOOO ill by the friday :'(

So excited! I've just found in comparison to other festivals I've been to, people are much more unfriendly and hostile at Reading! At Sonisphere it was like one big massive family, Reading is just a bit cliquey :( Though that being said, I still love it!

Yeah I reckon Reading is more or less a definite for me...been wanting to see SOAD for ages!! they're the first heavy band I ever got into! Also, it's possible that lock-up stage will be 3 days long, which would be soooo good! Though most of the Reading crowd annoys me nowadays :(

The last time I went was 2011, but I'm always in the same position as well. I ended up going it alone in 2011, but it was pretty awesome! Just because none of your friends go doesn't mean you shouldn't :P Though this year there should be friends going, with Black Flag there best be!

Hi, Hi Ben. You can't really go wrong with Bach, the only problem is the sheer amount of music to sample from, it's huge. A very nice place to start is St. Matthew Passion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Matthew_Passion), there are at least 5 different recordings, all of them beautiful. Enjoy :)

Sorry for the slow response time but I'm at work at the moment. I wouldn't really know where to start with recommendations without listening to your Last.fm radio first. I'll give it a shot later when I'm in the comfort of my own home and I can crank the volume up a bit ;¬)
