Yes, Dave Mustaine is a great songwriter and just a super dude, his voice so bold. If I'm not mistaken your nickname from one of his songs?)) It is a pity Dr. Feelgood or Wilko will not come to me in Russia ((Then I hope they die within 5-6 years, when I'll be able to come to them = D

yeah i agree with what you said about Qs review. i do like Q but sometimes their writers annoy me! :@ The Coral are on at The Alex?? i looked and its quite expensive i was thinking of going but as im not a huge fan im not sure :/ but...i saw that BRMC are on at the academy again in december!!! :D

i just listened to BRMCs new album its so amazing!! they are the kind of band that give me hope for the future of music, if you know what i mean. as for isle of wight i always thought it sounded like a good festival but it doesnt get as much coverage as glasto, reading etc for some reason. sounds amazing tho, hopefully i'll be able to go to one next year! (apologies for my slowness of replying by the way) x

i saw Stereophonics too! they were great, i was suprised because im not a huge fan but i forgot how many good songs they have and ive started listening to them more now. i wanted to see BRMC as well but missed the tickets they are one of the best new modern bands around i think. as for Isle of Wight - who is playing?? im not going to any festivals this year, maybe next summer though when more of my friends can go too. x

heyy thought i would reply here instead. thanks for the comment on my review :D it was a really good show, you should get their first album called Bad Company. to be honest with you, i dont actually own much of their stuff my dad has some vinlys of theirs though that i need to listen to. Paul Rodgers is my favourite singer of all time though and was in my favourite band Free so it was amazing for me to see him. i haven't got any other gigs at the moment :( have you?? x

yeah i was listening to Humbug a lot too :) also, im really into a nineties band called Del Amitri at the moment - its kind of soft rock but they have some heavier moments too and their lyrics are beautiful! i am very pleased to hear that you're listening to Bowie :) what have you heard by him so far? and have you been to the new O2 Academy yet??

yeah i totally agree about the album! i first heard the new songs when i watched their Reading set on TV and was so impressed, they have really matured i think. (i wrote a review of it actually, when its published you can read it if you like :) i like all of their albums equally though, i couldnt pick between them. as for the gig i didnt know they were on. surely they will have sold out by now? i havent been to a gig since Franz Ferdinand! :o what about you?

i love the parts where alex stops singing and you can just hear the crowd singing reeeally badly!! the quality of that video is quite good actually :) by the way do you know if there is anywhere where i can get the CD they were selling at the gig now? i had no money when i was there :(

i think i will buy it this weekend then. the same thing happened to me - i only got there towards the end of the support act so i was at the back but then i managed to get right near the front same as you, only behind 1 or 2 people. i have been right at the front by the barrier before which is great for actually seeing the band but it hurts!! lol. and ye i have myspace. can i have the link or something please? :D

actually, i havent bought the album yet lol (no money!!!) but i have heard some of the songs and they were sounding great on sunday. i like the direction they seem to be going in with the more electronic/dance feel. i really love Ulysses - it is so different to their previous stuff. alex is great on stage - he really engages the audience. i would love to see the photos from the gig! where were you standing by the way?
