Career? No way, please stop joking x) I'm studying economics now, my fee is my scholarship, and I basically know what occupation might be really pleasant... but I honestly have no idea what will I be doing in the next five years. For now, my greatest accomplishment is seeing Rammstein live .. twice... :D kidding... I hope life allowed you some spare time to sort everything out.

Of course I watched Lain and Evangelion. They're not my favorite animes, though, but Lain is absolutely amazing, considering the fact that it is more than 10 years old, it overraced the time with its views on computers and internet, and stuff like that. But that's beside the point :P oh, and Evangelion. The original end of the series was perfect, absolute mindrape. But the whole thing was not that pleasing - too much shounen and ecchi elements for me, probably. Still, got to respect the classics! ... and by the way, I loooove Texhnolyze (Konaka, Abe, Ueda.. the same people who created Lain), absolute favorite and strong recommendation. Just like the brilliant Fallout 3 game. As for Possession movie and Arcanum no, I haven't seen/played them, but I will definitely keep it in mind, thank you for the info x)

I love walls of text! It can never be enough ^^ anyway, talking about composers you mentioned, I seem to be more into Japanese music, since I know only Inon Zur - hey, he composed the awesome main theme from Fallout 3. Yoko Kanno and Kenji Kawai are amazing - especially Ghost in the Shell soundtrack... As for Mind Game and Kemonozume - oh yeah, I've seen both! You see, this so-called "mindrape" is my favorite genre, and I like pretty much everything it offers to me... :P especially the animation. Masaaki Yuasa's animation is amazing, constantly changing, super expressive, mindblowing....

Heh, talking about composers, I can mention Susumu Hirasawa, who made music for even three Satoshi Kon anime projects! And he's apparantly pretty high in my last.fm charts :P as for my favorites, it's impossible to choose. I love Millennium Actress - creativity, Perfect Blue - schizo, Paprika - best animation ever... and Paranoia Agent so much! MaybeTokyo Godfathers a bit less, but it's still amazing.

Probably there aren't too many anime fans, who give a damn about who directs it, that's why the group's so small. But he is great indeed! May I ask what work of his do you like the most? :)
