The Decapitated Midgets was accidentally formed in autumn 2008 by Juho and Konsta while recording Juho's other band's EP at the legendary Paskaperд Studios. To ease our boredom we (de)composed, recorded, mixed and mastered our debut EP, ”Malignant Manifeasto”, only in 6 hours, including 6 minutes of total chaooos.
Straight after the release it was obvious that we would do our first full-lenght album. So then in February 2009 we went to studio and gave birth to our second child, ”Gurgling Olympics” and it was born very handicapped, and decapitated. The album has 24 own tracks, including all hits from Malignant Manifeasto, rerecorded of course. The album was released as a ultra-limited tape release, including 6 bonus cover songs. The tape was received suprisingly well by the audience and the tapes got sold out relatively fast.
In the spring of 2009, only after few months after releasing ”Gurgling Olympics”, we recorded our second full-lenght ”30 Ways To Die”, including 30 brand new gurglers. It was released by Goatgrind Records in July 2009. Early in the summer Lauri and Samuli joined the band and The Decapitated Midgets evolved into a real band and the first gig was settled after having any rehearsals at all! Until that 'Midgets had been a duo. Now 'Midgets are inventing new vicious plans for the future and grinding even faster. Stay tuned and stay gore.
