The wait is over ... and the wait was worth it! Mountain Fever was amazing upon the 1st spin, which bodes well for the 20th. Subterranean Masquerade have now vaulted past many bands to the highest tier in my personal pantheon of favorite bands. The question now is, why don't they have a bigger following?

Mountain Fever is their best album since S.A.D. Great stuff. Love Dolev's vocals!

Yep. Along with Temporary Psychotic State, it carries a haunting darkness that has been missing from subsequent releases. One of my all-time favorite albums.

Vagabond is a new level of mastery, the sax is superb as well as the violin touches. I also swear that they went Arabic funk in Kippur, which is simply BRILLIANT!

I already loved 'em, but I love them even more now that they went Middle Eastern. It's like The Tea Party mixed with Witherscape!

New album is killer. Can't decide if it's better than SAD though, I've to revisit it again.

As one person already noted, that if by some miracle, in one cozy, quiet place come together: Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), Mikael Okerfeldt (Opeth), Danny Cavanagh (Anathema), maybe Anders Nystrom (Katatonia), a small jazz band from three to four people and a string quartet... and started quietly play music and improvise, the outcome could be well similar to this album. Although the actual line-up is also impressive, but I always have an association with the above-mentioned names. Anyway, great work. Catches you from the first minutes.
