Both of the new singles have awful production for Obscura. Idk what's going on with that, but they sound like crap. Usually Obscura albums sound flawless

People cant enjoy anything for what it is. The new album is a fun listen

Production on the new album is tinny and sad, but I do like the songs nonetheless. I suspect they will pack a bigger punch live. If the plagiarism allegations are correct then writing credit should be given where due.

What's the problem with the new album? I mean, beyond the plagiarism controversy, is it musically bad? I know I should see it for myself first, but with so many bad reviews, I'm too lazy to do so tbh.

Was hilarious that they were the least engaging of the 5 bands on Shredfeast, but Akroasis title track was amazing at least

Diluvium - A Valediction - now "A Sonication". Up until Akroasis, their sound was robust and meaty, but now it feels like plastic chewable gum with an attempt at technicality and progginess. I listened to the album twice, but nothing particularly stands out for me. The sound is unappealing, just like modern melodic death metal. The bass is lifeless, the guitars are smooth to the point of feeling plastic, and the overall tuning is unbalanced. Just listen to the cymbals in the mix, sandy sound.

El nuevo album es buenisimo

I really like the new album (to my own surprise). Most of the melodies are a little less sweet and that's a good thing. Cool that the musical influences are so easy to pick out (Devoured Usurper - a Morbid Angel tribute, Orbital Elements II - pure Megadeth riffs).
