Beautiful tale from the Romantism. This is how this album could be also described. The usage of the keyboards here is spectacular. One of the best synths in metal ever were given to us by Empyrium. Hats down.

This is a gratifying listen for those who appreciate the profound expression of tranquil atmospheric and elegant melodic beauty in a more serene, pastoral take on the style of early Enslaved or Summoning. Though this album is not as cohesive or refined as its follow-up, it is nevertheless a commendable effort of high artistic character and authentic creative inspiration.
