The 7th annual Forecastle Festival will host its first ever “Halfway to Forecastle” mini-fest January 26th @ Headliners Music Hall. 100% of ticket proceeds will benefit Louisville BMX staple and FBM-owner Jimmy Levan, who is currently recovering from serious injuries sustained after a skate boarding accident in New Jersey. In typical Forecastle fashion, the event will be completely nautically-themed, decorated from top to bottom with tons of props straight from the Carolina shoreline. Costumes encouraged.
As a tribute to Jimmy, the festival will include an outdoor skate park under a heated canopy, courtesy of Red Bull North America. Exhibitions will start @ 2PM, featuring local and regional athletes. Additional silent auction activites will take place inside, with all proceeds benefiting Jimmy and his road to recovery.
