Well European bands sing in English most of the times to get international audience I guess. I like M83, I listened to most of their stuff but I need to get a little more into. They got really good songs. I don't find it mind-blowing unlike P4k, but hey, they got some tunes.

Humm. Interesting. I'll listen to the BM you mentionned. I'm pretty sure I've heard about Deathspell Omega. I really dislike Phoenix. At least I wouldn't listen to a full album by myself. I'm not a massive fan of Serge Gainsbourg myself, but tbh I don't know his stuff that much. And his daughter...I used to really love one of her song when I was in highschool (5:55 I think), but didn't give it another shot. I had in mind to listen to her discog recently, which is apparently critically praised. Plus, I think she's a decent actress, I like her personality , and I find her unbelievably attractive. Probably because she looked really like one of my highschool crush, I guess. Yeah I guess you're right, but I was talking about indie and alt rock. Except from Peste Noire I don't know much about French BM but I know it's rather prolific.

And music in general... Apart from legit EDM, there isn't much good here. And obviously I'm not talking about Guetta but more Justice, M83 and son on. But rock is non-existent. I can't even say it's bad, there's just none. Other than that, France is cool yo

I see you're talking about Zappa there... definitely a massive and confusing catalog to navigate. I would say start with the first three Mothers of Invention albums (Freak Out, Absolutely Free, We're Only In It For The Money) then the aformentioned Lumpy Gravy, then Hot Rats, then Apostrophe, and then One Size Fits All.

Hmm, that's a hard question cause' his discography is so diverse. Having listened alot to Lumpy Gravy lately, I'm feeling obliged to say that it is my current favorite. It's the first solo album so it's probably a good place to start too.

Hah yeah, forgot the "look" before the "like". He's smart as fuck and has some good music tastes as well, so yeah. I hope you read the books, can't wait for that season, it's going to be pretty epic.
