Probably because I'd sooner pull all my hair out than listen to a psych/stoner band. I'd only consider listening to them if they were the cavemen from the movie Quest for Fire :)

Thanks for the shout, you've got some good stuff on yours too! As for Cold World, I only listened to it 3x in full but I dig it a lot, especially the song "Only Darkness"! I would ideally love another fast album like Cavalcade but I'll take whatever I can get at this point since I don't think that's ever going to happen!

I love every song on that album but I do think the stretch of "Monumental" / "Filthy Habits" / "Liver Alone" is my favorite. Close 2nd run would be "Bleed" / "Here Comes Treble" especially because I love how they merge together. "He Was a Jazzman" used to be my least favorite but it grew into another one of my favorites over the years. What about you?

The stretch from Here Comes Treble to Liver Alone is amazing IMO, mostly because 4, 5 and 6 are some of my favorites in there. Funnily enough, He Was a Jazzman is definitely my favorite on the album. Followed closely by Liver Alone. I wish Liver Alone sat closer to those three in the album, because I'm not a huge fan of Monumental. I don't think Monumental is bad necessarily, as I don't think there are any bad songs on that album, though I could take or leave Count Your Bruises. So having Monumental in there kind of breaks the momentum a bit, but that stretch from 4 to 9 is stellar, to me. The closer is a banger, too. It annoys me to no end that Spotify tags it incorrectly.

came here via your comment on bloody keep's page and immediately laughed when reading your bio because it's exactly the same for me: i had an old account from '04 that i deleted a while after moving to another city because i wanted a fresh start etc etc. or, well, maybe not exactly, but same timeline, you know what i mean. our tastes/scrobbles may not overlap a lot, but i appreciate the shared experience lol. cheers

I see, this profile proves what I had thought. You are listening to a mixed bag of genres. The only thing I didn't foresee was your scrobble count. Somehow I thought that would have been lot more scrobbles after 10 years with last.fm and counting. Have a nice time.

Yea, 2012-2017 I didn't really spend a lot of time at home scrobbling and there wasn't mobile scrobbling so my numbers are probably 1/2 what they would be otherwise :(
