Same! Job sucking the soul out of me as always, so nothing's changed in essence. Came back here yesterday after a while, thought I'd drop by and say hello!

Haha I can understand. They should get him to do voice-overs for animation movies. Will definitely quench your thirst :P

Absolutely. And I didn't know Benedict Cumberbatch could sing! Recommend a song/album?

Hounds of the Baskerville too! That may be because it was the first Sherlock story I read and damn those hounds were scary on that moor..

I have been well. Fie! Did not mean to revert to the clumsiness of the "shoutbox", but you should write from time to time! Enjoying the rare hours of beautiful daylight we have had of late, attempting to attend shows, completing commissions and such. Has post-graduate life continued to treat you alright? Have you have any concerts or events on the horizon you would recommend?

Thought that I would say hullo as I have not in some while, and that if you are (still?) in Germany that I hope your travels are enjoyable.

Football has unfortunately become more about money than anything else which is so, so sad. I dated a footballer lady here and boy, was that some ride! Munich reminds me of 1 thing and 1 thing only - Oktoberfest. That is definitely something on my to-do list (sooner rather than later, I hope). And as for Russia, I have a couple of friends who live there and they seem to hate the shit out of that place haha. Except for the extremely hot girls, there's not much to live for there. Not that I wouldn't mind you know :P

The only other curator I know of is from Dan Brown's book so you can only be an upgrade on that; I'll actually be proud of you. Really hope you get that job! And you follow football much? I've met the Bayern Munich team, mixture of down to earth (Lahm) and arrogant people!

Venezuela first for a backpacking trip and then we'll see. I'm a huge football fan so I'm also planning a trip to Brazil in 2014 for the World Cup but that's a long time away yet! What's your dream job like? I can only dream about mine haha.

I really like Ellie Goulding's music as well, she has a truly euphoric voice. As for life, I'm kind of stuck in my current job and can't get out for another 3 months. Terrific. I'm looking to get out of the country soon though, perhaps by the beginning of next year. What's up at your end?

Only heard it once so far but I really liked Electra Eyes! She's got shitloads of talent, deserves more recognition than she's getting. And I really liked this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hig5uLy2fe0

I absolutely loved 'The King is Dead' by the Decemberists. Not a fan of their previous stuff but I can listen to that album any day of the week/month/year. Really like Iron and Wine as well. Disappointed Monsters of Folk didn't follow up on their maiden album :(

Might as well put my office internet to good use, downloading as I type this. I'm trying to get into the whole folk-indie-country scene these days, it gives me such peace on turbulent days (which seem to increase every week!). Do you like The Decemberists?

I didn't know that! Shit that makes me feel even more awful. I guess Aaron Sorkin's Newsroom will keep me company for the next few weeks! By the way I see you listen to a lot of Marina & Diamonds. I listened to a couple of songs on the radio and she definitely had me. Going to check out her album when I have the time.

Very true. Cumberbatch has killed it in that role. The only downside is we have to wait a whole 365 days for the new season :(

Of course; I am immensely unaccustomed to "social networking" and the concept of a shout box always seemed impersonal and inefficient to me. What would you suggest as an alternative?

Of the headliners, I am most excited for The Shins who are one band I have strongly desired to see for long while now, as well as Beirut, and although it is far from not my usual cuppa, I believe it may be very enjoyable to dance to Pretty Lights once the sun has gone down. Explosions in the Sky is my most seen band in concert and I am always anticipatory of them. For the small names, Of Monsters and Men, (and smaller still...) Electric Guest, and especially Purity Ring are ones I very much wish to see. My companion to the festival only yesterday uncharacteristically jumped ship so I am a touch disheartened, but such is the way of things, I suppose. I do wish my music player would scrobble and I so rarely listen to music on my computer. I certainly will let you know if I happen across a band of your collection that I particularly enjoy, though I am always appreciative of reflective and personal recommendations. Perhaps we could trade off a few suggestions at a time.

Ohhhh maaaaan, that cover was awful hahah. I can understand the bands that do covers of like hip hop songs and whatnot but when it comes to those classics...I don't know hahah. Do you also like The Cars?? If you find John and his personality interesting, you gotta watch the movie Nowhere Boy. It's so good! It has the guy who played Kick Ass in the self titled movie. Ohhh man, I love so many comic book heroes. I think my favorite one is Iron Man. I constantly imagine how a fight between Batman and Iron Man would turn out. I'm assuming you're stoked to see the new Batman movie coming out??

I sincerely believe Seattle to be especially prolific in good music; it is not uncommon in this city to pay a modest entrance at a small venue to see an under-promoted, lesser known band and find a performance and quality that belies the unconventional concert. The Showbox Market, though, is certainly one of my absolute favorites. Meanwhile, it is a week now until Sasquatch at the Gorge and I could not be more excited nor more gratified to be attending. It is one of those times when I find myself much desiring a respite from University, obligations, and everything else in a Day. Thank you for the compliment upon my taste, as well, though I truly should update what I have been listening to lately. Perhaps I could sample your library, as it is always so pleasant to find something new and exceptional.

How'd you get the name Hilary? Oh man, great choices of songs. I love A Day in The Life too! I listened to a hardcore band's cover it...it was quite awkward hahah. I think my favorite album is Help! I remember as a kid, running to the public library and always borrowing that CD and just listening to it on repeat. What got me into the band was watching their movie Help so it's only right that it's my favorite album hahah. Have you seen the recent movie about John, Nowhere Boy?? Oh man, I give you credit for doing History as a major. I took a couple of classes but I just couldn't get into it. What do you in the theatre business? I won't lie, touring is pretty fun. The only downer is that your feeding on chips and salsa and dollar menu things hahah. I moved out a while back. I'm currently renting a room at a friend's house haha. I think being nerdy is quite the attractive trait btw :) You may not know this but I'm a huge comic nerd and I love nerdy things hahah.

Can I call you Hilary? I don't know any Hilarys and I think thats a really pretty name hahah. I agree! They could use some linebreaks but then again, awkward can be fun. Thats the thing! Nobody says that Ringo is their favorite Beatle lol! George was epic and yeah, I find it weird that you didn't like John. If anything, he's the one everybody likes. I won't lie, I'm a fan of John's. Whats your favorite song from them? ( I know it's hard but you have to choose ONE and only ONE) Oh no way! Are you moving out of Seattle? Congrats on graduation. Whats your major? Well, I was going to major in film and I was close but then I made a major change. Now I'm doing English but all of a sudden, I feel like Environmental Science screams my name. As for summer, Comic Con & Outside Lands. I also believe my band might be touring off our record thats coming out in July. Lastly, I love long messages/shouts! It just means we'll have more things to talk about :)

Hiya. I must say that I was a touch excited to see by our compatibility that we share an enjoyment of Astronautalis amidst the many other respectable artists we have in common. It is always a pleasure to meet someone with an exceptional taste in music and especially so if you are fortunate enough to share a residence, or at least a love, of Seattle (and maybe know of all the good upcoming shows). I am glad to see as well that you hold a similar opinion of the album art I shared in the thread you created.

I agree. I want school to be over so I can do stuff this summer. You got any plans for summer?? Have you been going to the beach during this hot phase?? Also, My name is David btw :) I know it already says it on my profile but I thought i'd formally introduce myself. I also noticed you loved the Beatles. My mom has an Abbey Road record signed by I think Paul and Ringo. But then again, my friends and I had a discussion on how nobody likes Ringo lol.
