Thanks now that I know the album name I can give it a listen. My new years was pretty good, I was at a friends house for a while drinking champagne and other delicious beverages then went to the landing, and then fell asleep watching An American Werewolf in London at another friends house.

Also, great stuff throughout your charts. I actually have that Decemberists albums downloaded but haven't listened to it yet for some reason. See you're digging the Sleigh Bells stuff, I saw them back in October with LCD Soundsystem, met Alexis, it was awesome. Then I won tickets to a Cold War Kids show literally 15 minutes from my house but had some sort of prior arrangement that I can't even remember at this point, so I wasn't able to go. That was kind of a bumout, but I remembered your page on here and how high they were on your charts, and wished I could've made it and told you about it... as opposed to this lame story about how I DIDN'T go.. hah

Haha yo, I used to buy No Limit albums like an absolute junkie when I was a kid, during that 96-98 period. I remember when Snoop came over to the label, it was the coolest fucking thing in the world to me. Just stumbled across a site last night with pretty much every No Limit album from that period, so needless to say I'm in and out of a serious nostalgia trance :P Happy New Year!

Oh and I also forgot to mention that The National, and the new Wavves album were pretty amazing as well.

Uggghhh, I keep forgetting about that Big Boi album, that shit is too awesome to forget, and i haven't gotten a chance to listen to that Of Montreal album yet. I read about that silver and gold ball thing last night, I may have to check that out, sounds pretty awesome.

I got Dragon Age for the Xbox. That's what me and one of my friends was thinking of doing for New Years was either just wandering downtown or maybe go to that 5 points theater for that New Orleans show they have there. As for favorite album of this year, I dunno that's pretty tough I mean there were so many good albums this year. Sit down, Man by Das Racist is pretty damn amazing so was that Best Coast album and the new Kanye album. The Beach House album was also pretty damn amazing and the new Arcade Fire album, Uhhhhhh This is pretty tough, I guess I would have to say it's tied for the new Lcd Soundsystem album or The Monitor By Titus Andronicus I've listened to those albums excessively. Sorry for the obnoxiously long message, what about you, what was your favorite album of this year?

Yea i heard about that horror fest at the theater. I'm pretty interested in seeing some of the films there. I don't know if i would see anything on the first day though for that is my birthday, but i'm totally going to see the evil dead on saturday, that i feel is a must.

Uhhh sometimes. I typically only go there for the theater cause they tend to show some pretty bitching movies, but occasionally i am there just to hang out.
