I listened to Cape Dory and didn't think much of it, but I'm hearing good things about this new one so I'm certainly willing to give it a try.

Well, I absolutely cannot say it'll be the most rewarding listen this year, as it's mostly tripe. I just saw you asking for indie pop in a thread and that instantly came to mind. I guess Cloud Nothings' Attack on Memory is pretty good. But I wouldn't call it my AOTY be it tentatively or all time. I'm still really looking forward to what Madonna, Marina & the Diamonds, and mewithoutYou have in store. I'm sure there are plenty others I'm anticipating, but those are my top things I'm excited for.

I dunno how into The Ting Tings you are, but their new album is...kinda okay. Nothing extraordinary or super catchy/annoying like their first affair though.

I think so too, I love the sound of the album. I liked the "Puutarhatrilogia" one too, though :) Yeah, I guess they are now, but I guess that's partially because of all that marketing they did during last summer. You couldn't go anywhere without them being somehow involved.

I for one wasn't expecting Regina on your charts :D I got introduced to them quite recently, their latest album was a huge success over here.
