Will do, man. Novice or not, you still sound like you know what you're talking about, which is more than what i can say for myself. I hope one day to have a better understanding of all the things on my list of things to learn. Anytime you want to share some interesting new finds, let me know. By the way, nice call with Fitz and the Tantrums. Great stuff! Have a good one, man.

I really haven't listened to much more than Chopin. I looked around the internet for some other stuff, but i failed miserably. There are so many different composers with their own interpretation of other more famous composer's work, kinda makes your brain spin. These recommendations are excellent, though! definitely what I've been looking for. I'm really diggin John Field. Another thing, do you know much about opera? Anything similar to Figaro or even just some popular tunes that will get me started?

I never knew how much i actually appreciate the piano. lol I've always enjoyed music that is built around the violin, but it's nice to be able to switch it up. I'll check out Arthur Rubinstein's interpretation of Chopin's work.

lol, for sure, man. It's great stuff! Would it be fair to say that Vladimir Ashkenazy serves his work the most justice?

Well said! Not to sound narcissistic, but that's one reason I avoid most mainstream music. Anymore, that's all mainstream music is. I think that cognitive strain is important. I only wish i would've felt this way in high school. lol The way you put that made me think of ambient music. I've just recently started exploring the realms of the genre, but it has grown on me quickly. Do you listen to any ambient music?

"How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep" is probably my favorite too, but i'm really getting into, "Leave It" and " Still". The album is still pretty new to me, though. I can't get enough of "Spectator & Pupil" by Violens! Did Violens start making music in the 90's, then break-up and now they're back together? Thanks for the classical recommendations, man. I'm gaining a whole new respect for it. When i was younger i never understood what all the hype was about, but now that i'm more open minded, it's really blowing my mind!

I'll take some classical recommendations.... I'm a big fan of BBC, but i wasn't aware that they had a new album. And, thanks for the violens recommendation! I've never heard of them, but they're excellent!

Hey, brother. I'm not familiar with some of the musicians on your charts. For example: Francis Poulenc. What songs would you recommend?
