peter bjorn & john - hmmm, i have 'young folks', should i look out for more???

Ooh its gone up to medium. I think it was The Wedding Present wot did it ;)

If anybody here likes my writing i've just turned pro on the front page of www.eatfootball.net check it out

Mmmmmmm food!!!

Yay! What's my prize?

Twas me, although the actual quote was more along the lines of: Who had the 15 year old schoolkids from an Icelandic council estate?

And tell the milkman - no more cheese!!!!

My question, which Last.fm so kindly cut off, is this: is music just a complex form of pattern recognition, or is it...larger? I really don't know. Will anyone, ever?

I'm sure you've gotten lots o' e-love due to your spot-on and well-written Devendra Banhart piece. I've enjoyed what you've written, esp. the Aug 23 post. I vote for #5. Seriously, I just watched this POV documentary on Lomax and have been already thinking about the origin of music. There's something in humans that responds to beat, pitch, and so forth...

I'm off to the Leeds festival now my droogs - seeya monday

Great article about Devendra... going to send it on to a friend. Look forward to hopefully reading more articles by you!

Yeah you should, his album Transfiguration of Vincent is great. Looks like your giving DJ Target quite a workout

Your right, I might. I now have someone to whom I can transfer my recent M. Ward obsession. And hey, well founded critisism is important. It's not like he even made it to your officially shit page.

Your article about Devendra was hilarious! I too have tried, and failed to care.

Haha, how about 'honorificabilitudinitatibus'?

Really? I can't say I actually know their music that well. I'm looking forward to Coheed mostly, but am planning to spend much of my time at the Lock-Up stage because there's no denying it's a fun place to be. x

Oooh, I'm off to Reading too so I'll be seeing them there as well. Who are you most looking forward to seeing at the reading/leeds bonanza? x

You've been listening to the Guillemots... good call :) I'm supporting them on the 21st!

I'm trying deadly hard to veer away from my fingers down the throat nice inclinations. i had to scrap a mixtape i was planning to give her because every song title had the word love in.

Oh and I think you should definately check out Animal Collective...specifically their album Feels.

Yo, sorry I've been so lame in not replying for ages....I blame my exams for that. Some bands who you should check out are Broken Social Scene, The Decemberists and The New Pornographers. Maybe you will like them. I have borrowed a Herman Dune CD off Shmukutero and will give it a good listening to

I see you've been listening to Tapes 'n Tapes. What do you think?

Yeah, Johnny Cash is brilliant... Did you see Walk The Line? Jose Gonzalez is amazing, entirely fantastically played acoustic guitar (apart from some minimalist percussion on occasion) and he has a beautiful voice. Definitely worth a listen, I went to see him on Monday and it was probably one of th best shows I've ever seen x

you can just keep going can't you... goodm stuff :D

Ahahaha, apologies if I've ruined it all for you... It is an amazing song though, can't believe I hadn't heard of Iron & Wine until fairly recently. Also, Teeth In The Grass 'in my pants'...?! Lends itself really, doesn't it...

Tis very true. Although it also provides an unparelleled opportunity for the mentally stunted to demonstrate their inability to grasp basic format concepts.

Liked your cat post on the Corrupt Wish Game thread btw :)

The quality of your typing shows it ;) Spare a thought for those of us back in school :p

Hahaha see I only really use it to look at my music. I'll get you on myspace next ;)

I agree! hello and welcome :)

There you go. This a largely pointless feature, but I still get the pleasure of using it first :p
