hit me with the most obscure of music. go!

Heey, how are you :) I just saw you are attending ATP this year! The National are such a phenomenal live band... and Sharon is performing there too! do you like her? hope you're doing great :D

oh shit OOPS~

Thanks for the add!

=)

i have so few friends on last.fm so i keep an eye on them from time to time :) and you are my "scott friend"

fuckin hipsters everywhere

By the way. What are you planning on doing for Owen Pallett on Sunday? Just wondering so I can plan around everything :)

basically yes :P let me know what you make of yuck!

They're very good imo. Better live than on record though. Thats pretty unfortunate. Tho it'll probably be nice to have a good evening celebrating after right? Is it morning or afternoon? It doesn't matter too much as we're seated but you know :)

nah they're pretty good. you should give them a listen :)

Just like a ghost EP <3

love you

Yeah, the last 3 tracks are absolutely sublime, easily as good as anything they've ever done (with the possibly exception of Dinosaur Act)

Hey, thanks for the add. Top taste - what have you made of the new Low album?

*__*

bummmmm

WATCH MEHH

hi there. i think i know you, right? :D

But of course :) Its so pretty!

Yeah, when I feel like I will love an artist, I tend to download everything they've done, lol, or most of if. Kind of quick overview and then it takes time to come to grips with it all. The Walker Brothers are great too and not nearly as, I don't know... bland to my ears as some people say. Lyrics of course are another matter than Scott's solo stuff

I find The Clientele comforting as well. I think The Drift is a very dense record... as in it does give you the creeps, but you have to kind of work with it at the same time to get the full effect. In the 60s... well, probably the best male singer of all time in top form. And as his voice was so expressive, I can sometimes hear when he's bored with the song and a bit listless, but I don't even think I mind it much anymore (those are not the songs on his 4 solo records)

I didn't think anyone else even knows about The Cilentele, for example, or cares... Scott Walker is something special... more amazing than I first thought he'd be, listening to The Drift. Not that I don't like The Drift... but his back catalogue, wow

Hello there... I think we might have too many artists in common, hehee

y u have new last.fm Bethy? x'D

Also, not following me back on Tumblr? How rude! x

A while now :P I just don't really actively use them. I mostly just look at other peoples blogs and use this to moniter my own music. x
