i would definitely not describe it as "fun" all the way through, but i think it is just so great. i hadnt listened to it all the way through for a few days when it came out, and then i did, and was so thrilled with it. some of the songs i kinda skipped over at first really surprised me. "dark matter" being one of them. and the apps are slightly confusing to me at this point in time, but when i have time to really get into them im sure i will approve wholeheartedly.

Splendour was AMAZING. Jonsi was probably the highlight for me - he finished on an extended version of Grow Til Tall which was just spectacular. It was probably also the most insane few days of my life. You in Copenhagen yet?

I think they risked with "Silent shout", cause their previous weren't as dark. With "Tomorrow, in a year", they began exploring totally new territory. I haven't seen the performance (and probably they'll never come to Chile), so I can comment on the album only. I really love "Colouring of pigeons" and the self-titled track, I think they're the best executed. But some of the songs just bore me. Also, I dislike that they were invited to write music for a Darwin opera and then, in the last song ("The height of summer"), they musically withdraw, change direction, come back to their first works and the lyrics lose the Darwin sense. Yes, but what the hell, I can't stop loving The Knife! What's your opinion?
