I think it must have been Tara Jane O'Neil (she's sharing a bill with David Grubbs on one of the dates of his tour). I just looked at all the gigs I was going to, tried to figure out which ones were kind of similar, and then invited everyone who'd been to (or was going to, if they hadn't happened yet) those shows. I agree, though, I wish there was a way to more easily share these things. Like, find everyone in a certain city who had listened to a particular artist, and then invite them all to that show. I guess Songkick kind of does that, but I don't know how effective it is.
