They're like emo, but not midwest twinkly. More clean vox, a lot of acoustic stuff, and very post-rocky at parts. Turn on TDAG, lay back and wait when Sowing Season comes on. After a minute or two, your mind will most likely have been blown. They're currently my favorite band. I hope that helps.

some of 'em are alright. i like that groups are keeping the torch lit, but a lot of 'em kinda drown in their influences.

I had the rare honor of holding Geoff Rickly's hand. I'm glad I saw them, it was a total last-minute decision.

should've known :D coincidentally, hard normal daddy arrived through the mail today and i always keep an eye on ebay to see if some fool actually wants to sell FMWT for less than £10... however unlikely

yes man! i first found out about rossz czillag through the /mu/ electronics essentials (the worlds worst list) and was simply amazed. I'd steered clear of drum and bass or any variants thereof for the best part of my life because i believed that the music was clichéd and it all sounded the same. But when i played rossz... it was beautiful, my brain could not comprehend the complexity and sheer genius of the work. I think it goes without saying that i love his classical/drum and bass stuff, but i'm just starting to warm to some of his other releases. Really like chocolate wheelchair album and cavalcade of glee, with a few odd tracks scattered around. Despite not having listened to/liking about 50% of his music he's on the top of my list of artists to see live full stop.

Man! I was just talking about this with a friend, I really want to see both Algernon Cadwallader and Snowing but they don't come around here often. I checked upcoming dates and none are nearby. Also have you seen Joyce Manor? I've been told they put on a great show!

Winrar. Quick, what's a good Talking Heads album to start on? I hear they're pretty respectable.

Don't think I have ever seen Klute mentioned on /mu/ before by anyone that isn't me.

I remember listening to Algernon Cadwallader a couple of years ago. My friend from Illinois sent me some of his stuff and I dug it, but I am now missing it. What album do you recommend?
