hello sir! life's okay on my end... takin' it one day at a time. how about you? as far as music goes, i've mostly been listening to the same stuff as usual lately. old favorites and whatnot. sometimes i will google things i hear in a movie or tv show, but other than that nothing new really. i forgot where to go to find good music! last.fm is a good source sometimes... maybe i'm just lazy. i was hoping maybe YOU could tell ME about some sweet new music. you always seem to know what's up!

Yeah, working there I get five free rentals a week, so I get to see a lot of good stuff (and bad stuff...but it's not too terrible when it's free). Presepolis is probably one of the best movies that's come out this summer...I got to learn all about Iranian history and it wasn't even painful.

Yeah, I realized that it only had like 36 people in there and so it should be easily affected...but i don't know, maybe last.fm is a little slow...it doesn't really have my top artists overall right, i don't think. and that john mccain clip did make me laugh...i can never keep my eyes away from his fat neck...it just flops. and that dude has Alzheimer's. poor tim russert, though...we could have used him to hang around for the election..

I don't know about the group charts...I bet they look at the percentage of members that listen to a particular artist/song and not necessarily how many of their songs you listened to...that's my guess at least. I bet it's harder to change with more people in the group, too.

Yeah, the charts are pretty useful...I always like reading what people have to say about songs. A good percent of the time I think they're full of shit, but it's entertaining nonetheless.

Also, on further thought, I hope Ben and Tom are kicking Jesse in the face for defiling their intentions for this country.

Yeah, Jesse Helms is quite the tool. Especially since he was such a stronghold in the GOP during the Reagan years. Those bastards are still fucking us over. I don't know anyone else who have last.fm accounts, although I've been trying to tell some people about it in the hopes to peruse what they've been listening to. I really like how it's like pandora in the sense that it suggests things you should probably like, but doesn't make you listen to specific songs. A lot of times I didn't like Pandora's suggestions...

by the way, do you know why on some songs even when it says 'full track' it only plays the first half minute?
