Hey Josh, clicking on your website I just noticed that we live in the same town! Too funny. Also saw that you listened to the new U2, like it? Just got the CD last week, it was better than I thought it would be.

I've been a fan of Nightwish for a while. Only good thing to come out of MTV in the last decade was the night I was channel surfing and first heard Wish I Had an Angel :) It was too lame when their singer got sick and they had to cancel all their shows around here last summer, but I'm totally making the trek up to Baltimore in May when they're back in the US. You should come too!

It was pretty awesome: there were about 60 people there and we played about 5 of our songs, and two covers (an instrumental version of RATM's Killing in the Name and Metallica's Fade to Black). It was really cool, considering this was the first time we ever played those songs, to, well, anybody! By the way, you're a drummer, right? You should check out Thomas Lang's instructional DVD "Creative Coordination & Advanced Foot Technique." He teaches a creative, time-saving way to practice technique, coordination, speed, dynamic control and many others that will certainly help you. It is also seven-hour long on 3 CDs, providing a lot of practice for you to use.

I'm really happy I found Hot Seconds and Action Painters on Amie Street, especially Hot Seconds. They've become a real favorite and happily, they're local to me so I'm hoping to catch their next show.

It's really something like a constant Rush kick o: Actually, I was looking through my stepdad's old CD collection and I found Roll the Bones, Counterparts and 80's-90's compilation called The Fly. I only had time for Counterparts yet, but Roll the Bones was awesome. Wow, I have 1600 Rush listens. Seems like lot.

I get more shouts than you see, I usually end up deleting them. I like a clean interface. :) One newer band I really like is The Outside Royalty, I am a little biased because I know their drummer. I'm also a seriously addicted to the What Made Milwaukee Famous song, Sultan right now too.
