Aside from France, in Europe I've been in Belgium, Holland and Germany, absolutely charming places, and outside Europe only in Australia and NZ, which is my favorite place in the world, I have a long time friend there and we were dating for a while, we were planning to get married and I would move to Australia to live with him ^^ but we're just good friends now, but since I love surfing I try to go to Australia whenever I can, which is rarer than I'd wish unfortunatey.

Nice song, I didn't understand most of what he said but the music is interesting, strong thrash metal touch, I try to be open minded as well, because if I keep a pre-conceived notion on music I'll end up losing something good. I've had a facebook account for a while, but after they had blocked me for once after a discussion I had with some guy in a page, I saw how I disagree with all facebook's policies so I deleted my account, if I resume my account sometime I'll tell you. Your parents are american? why don't you go live with them in the USA? I didn't see almost anything from Rio, I was kept in an apartment in a place called Barra, and rarely go out for leisure, we only went to a private school and then straight back home, my parents were worried because we were in an unfamiliar place so it could be dangerous for me and my sisters to go out alone in a strange place, the only places I got to see were some beaches and that giant statue of Jesus, but I like my time there.

You have great tastes, I like many artists in your library, I listen to many, many types of music, but overall my favorite genres are Black and Death Metal, genres of Hardoce like Metalcore and Deathcore, Country (mainly Alt/gothic country), Electronic music, in special Trance, progressive and transcendental electronic or metal (like djent), Ambient music, and Medieval music, but I listen to almost everything, if the music pleases me then I listen to it :) This is my favorite song atm, I dunno if this is your type of music tho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7lpftvYDMA

French is very beautiful, I was lucky that I was raised bilingual, so I learned french since birth, and it comes handy very often because I can travel to France whenever I want, France is my favorite country in the world, mainly the south, even though my family is from the north, they have amazing medieval fairs, they have them in Quebec as well, it's very fun if you haven't attended one yet, you have german ancestry too? cool! I speak dutch, but german is more complicated to learn in my opinion, I'm trying to lear german at the moment, I have a friend who lives in Wuppertal, and I'm planning a trip and staying at her place for a while, because the better way to learn a language is to be somewhere where they actually speak the language and talk to people personally, if you do this you'll learn french so fast you won't even realize how easy it was

I know what you mean ^^ my country is like that too, there are people from all parts of the world, mainly in my province and in BC, but here even though english is the main language each place people speak their own language in their daily lives, the biggest example is Quebec where they speak french, but in west they speak a lot of Irish and Scottish, in Ontario itself there are towns where they speak mostly Irish than english, I have to say Quebec is my favorite province, do you speak any french? thanks for the recs i'm gonna look them up :) depending on what music genres you like there are a lot of good artists in Canada, personally I'm a big fan of Black Metal and Canada is one of the biggest scenes in BM nowadays, mainly Quebec, some artists I like around the lines of Indie are Coeur de Pirate, Auf der Maur, Tegan and Sara, Metric, Japandroids, Crystal Castles, Wolf Parade, Broken social scene, Godspeed you! The south seems like a nice place, I know there's a strong german community in there, I'm part german, I wonder if they speak german, Montreal is great, it's probably the biggest city in the whole country, the architecture is very beautiful and they have places dedicated to art everywhere, I hope you can go there someday, I'm from Ontario, the south, it's fairly close to Quebec actually, my mother's family is from Quebec they're french, so I used to go there all the time when I was younger, but now I don't have much time, only in very special occasions, yeah I love brazilian music, the bands I like the most are Raul Seixas, Ana Carolina, Kid Abelha and Engenheiros do Hawaii, do you like them? I like mpb I'm trying to find new artists to listen, my friend recommended me Maria Gadu and Zelia Duncan, I'm enjoying them very much ^_^
