Biografia
NJZ (Korean: 엔제이지; Japanese: エンジェイジ), formerly NewJeans (뉴진스), is a five-member girl group formed by ADOR. They debuted on July 22, 2022, with the lead single "Attention", prior to the release of their debut EP New Jeans on August 1, 2022.
Hanni revealed that their new group name, "NJZ", retained the "essence" of their original name, stating "Even though we have to leave our previous name behind us for a bit, we're not fully moving on from it And we don't want to either, because (being NewJeans) was still a very special period of time to us, and it's something that our fans also probably hold really dear.
On February 6, 2025, it was announced through the press that NewJeans would be rebranded to NJZalong with new profile photos. The group will be headlining ComplexCon Hong Kong in March 2025, and will unveil new song at the event.
