Sanity_Theorist
Adding a bass guitar did SO MUCH for them, now the composition feel fully fleshed out! The basslines are awesome, too!

This is their best album so far. It combines the metal aspects of their debut with the experimental technics of Weightless and mixes in a big portion of jazz. Both of it's predecessors weren't as fluent, homogenous, creative and emotional as this masterpiece called Joy Of Motion.

From its dizzying musical technicality to its breathtakingly creative use of melody and dynamics, this album is an absolute masterpiece. Easily their best work so far. And like a little cherry on top the mix is also ridiculously good. The only downfall is in its mastering, but that's easily dismissible when the music is so fantastic. 10/10 fo shizzle.

his album's mastering is pretty horrendous. all the dynamics are brickwalled & distorted when compared to their earlier releases. the music itself is phenomenal. [2] This is what happens to all Sumerian releases it seems. Music is well composed and recorded well, most damage is post-production.

After first listen I quickly confirmed this is their best album. The amount of times my jaw dropped while listening was (̶i̶n̶s̶e̶r̶t̶D̶B̶Z̶m̶e̶m̶e̶h̶e̶r̶e̶)̶ quite alot.

I have listened to this entire thing daily in it's entirety for the past 3+ weeks on my morning commute. it is my ideal soundtrack to reading science fiction novels/manga like Attack On Titan or Nausicaa

Don't claim about this album like "AAL were better at their previous works" or "I disappointed, expected more". You should listen this one more time and after that once again...It's the step, no - it's the leap forward: cool arrangements, interesting and more complex song structure ("where to is more complex", probably you will ask - but it is the matter of facts). In my opinion, the meaning of this album is advanced or equal at least for the meaning of his predecessors. Well, but I should be criticize the sound producing, but I will not...only say that something missing, something personal feeling (maybe, it is the result of digital engineering).
