Les Lullies
A teraz lepiej skończcie te bzdury, bo oto Les Lullies!!! Zespół został założony w 2016 roku przez cztery francuskie bojowe małpy jedzące ser. Słodziaki z Mont-pellier wpisują się w szereg zespołów i artystów z prostym credo: wskocz do vana, jedź wszędzie i graj rock'n'rolla!
Debiutancka EP-ka zespołu, nagrana przez Marca Hacqueta, została wydana w lutym 2017 roku przez hiszpańską wytwórnię Discos Meteoro. Druga, nagrana w Swamp-land przez Lo Spider, jest dostępna od listopada 2017 roku w Slovenly Re-cordings (USA). Ich pierwszy LP ukazał się w październiku 2018 roku również nakładem Slovenly Recordings i został nagrany i zmiksowany ponownie przez Lo Spidera i zmasterowany przez Tima Warrena.
Ale to dzięki ciągłym koncertom zespół naprawdę podbił publiczność surowymi, ekscytującymi występami. Zespół koncertował we Francji, Europie, Wielkiej Brytanii i po drugiej stronie stawu w USA i Kanadzie.... Zagrał również na wielu festiwalach, takich jak We're loud, Funtastic Dracula Carnival, Bule Bule Toga Fest, Cosmic Trip, Fuzz-ville, Binic Folk Blues Festival i wielu innych. Dzielili scenę z prestiżowymi nazwiskami, takimi jak The Hives, New Bomb Turks czy Jim Jones All Star.
To nie jest inżynieria rakietowa, mon frère, to tylko rock'n'roll. Nagrywanie nowego albumu „Mauvaise foi” i singla „Dernier soir” rozpoczęło się w listopadzie 2021 roku w Château Vergogne, z Maxime Smadja (Rixe, BOSS, Condor, Digital Octopus...), który wniósł cały swój savoir-faire do brzmienia zespołu. Śmietanka towarzyska. Te nagrania z pewnością zapewnią Wam bardzo potrzebny rock'n'rollowy plaskacz w twarz. Les Lullies nie chcieli powtórzyć tej samej płyty, co poprzednie, a z powodu pandemii, utknęli w domu bez trasy koncertowej, poświęcili czas na pisanie, nagrywanie i produkcję. Piosenki osiągnęły nowy poziom jakości, ale główną zmianą jest język, ponieważ teraz zespół śpiewa po francusku. Singiel ukazał się w styczniu 2023 roku, a album 26 maja 2023 roku. Od tego czasu zespół koncertuje non-stop, jak zawsze w całej Europie, a następnie udaje się do Meksyku, USA, Japonii i Australii.

Now you best cut the crap cause here are Les Lullies!!! The band was formed back in 2016 by four French cheese-eating attack monkeys. Mont-pellier’s own sweethearts are in line with a bunch of bands and artists with a simple creed: hop in the van, go everywhere and play rock’n’roll!
The band’s debut EP, recorded by Marc Hacquet, was released in February 2017 on Spanish label Discos Meteoro. The second one, recorded at Swamp-land by Lo Spider, has been available since November 2017 on Slovenly Re-cordings (USA). Their very first LP was put out in October 2018 on Slovenly Recordings as well, and was recorded and mixed yet again by Lo Spider again and mastered by Tim Warren.
But it’s from constant gigging that the band really won over its audience with raw, exciting shows.
The band toured all over from France, Europe, the UK and across the pond in the US and Canada... They also played numerous festivals such as We’re loud, Funtastic Dracula Carnival, Bule Bule Toga Fest, Cosmic Trip, Fuzz-ville, Binic Folk Blues Festival you name it. They shared the stage with prestigious names such as The Hives, New Bomb Turks or Jim Jones All Star, among many others.
This ain’t rocket science, mon frère, it is only rock’n’roll. And we wouldn’t have it any other way! The recording of the new album “Mauvaise foi” and the single “Dernier soir” started in November 2021 at Château Vergogne, with Maxime Smadja (Rixe, BOSS, Condor, Digital Octopus...) who brought all his savoir-faire to the band’s sound. Cream of the crop stuff. Those records are sure to pro-vide a much-needed rock’n’roll slap in your face. Les Lullies didn’t want to repeat the same record as the first ones, and with the pandemic, being stuck at home without touring, they took time to write, record and produce.
The songs have reached a new level of quality, but the main change is in the language, as now the band sings in French.
The single was out in January 2023, the album on may 26th 2023. Since then the band has been touring non stop as always everywhere in Europe, and is going next to Mexico, USA, Japan and Australia.
