January 2011 marks the 25th anniversary of Eurosonic Noorderslag, what started in the 80's as little more than a fun musical battle between ten Belgian and ten Dutch acts, has now become one of the main events in the European music sector! Each year Eurosonic Noorderslag picks a focus country; the 2011 edition has a focus on the Netherlands.

Last.fm Presents are hosting a special showcase featuring some of 2010's most exciting hype chart bands: Anna Calvi, The Uniques, Ost & Kjex & Polock.
