Horse Feathers hail from Portland, Oregon and centre around the song writing of Justin Ringle (vocals & guitar) and the arrangements of Peter Broderick (violin, banjo, percussion, vocals). The pair are joined by Broderick's sister, Heather (cello, celeste, vocals), and combined to produce the most delicate and fragile Americana that there's surely ever been. This is heart-achingly good fare. In short, for all its fragility, this is epic songwriting. Almost an Antony and the Johnsons in check shirts you might say. Simply stunning and absolutely perfect.
