For our 5th year at Sonar and our 2nd year residing at one of Barcelona's most beautiful clubs La Terrrazza, we bring another very special line up to the table with all artists being Sonar exclusives.
Headlining we have the first ever billed performance from Ame and Dixon (Innervisions) back to back. Kristian and Dix have played a number of times informally over the years together but this is the first time at their request they have been billed as back to back. Knowing both these artists as well as we do we expect music of the very highest quality and many upfront gems.
Also joining us for the second time this season will be Melon (Ratio?) Melon is without doubt one of our fave House DJs and his rocking set at the opening party went down a storm with him also having bags of charisma behind the tables. He is currently touring with House legend Doc Martin and his Je Davu releases are bang on the money.
Last up Giles and James have invited new hot UK talent WBeeza (Third Ear) for his debut International gig! We think it’s just a matter of time before WBeeza is a name on everyone's lips. With just a couple of EP's released on the excellent Detroit inspired UK label Third Ear, home to artists the ilk of Mike Huckaby, Delano Smith, Norm Talley, WBeeza is a star in the making. His tracks have a unique, hypnotizing groove that although nodding to Detroit have a fresh, raw, UK spirit forged by the 23 year old in South London. Listen Up!
This has all the right ingredients to be an unforgettable party in the amazing confines of La Terrrazza in Poble Espanyol and running from 10pm to 5am outdoors it's great way to close the week at Sonar. Hope you can join us.
