i really dont check my last.fm anymore these days! Yeah Perfume Genius released a new one, i havent taken the time yet to really check it out, but soon i will. hmmm i dont think i ever got to tell you my thoughts about Van sant's Restless, no? It's a very soft and pretty film, very delicate, fragile almost. I loved the colours, I adore Mia. the boy was a pretty face, not sure about his acting. It's not Van Sant's best, but I love that he dares to make these kind of films, those that just are and that you dont end up thinking about too much, overanalyzing. it has a very sweet and genuine feel to it. Havent seen that many films these days, too busy with school and too in love with my boyfriend who lives in Rotterdam. i dont mind it that much though, i like keeping myself busy and i still try to see the films i really NEED to see :) hope you're doing fine as well, but i bet so. i guess not too much news from you means you're doing good :D X

the reviews are very good indeed, but true, it's a very good album. For Emma is perfect for dark winter days whereas the new album is more of a field of grass during a sunset kind of album. aaaah yeah i remember reading about the Jónsi song once, I havent seen the film yet, I want to, I also want to see Kick-Ass, it's said to be quite good and the girl playing this one girl hero is said to, well, kick-ass :D I love the new Foals :p First listen i was like, hmmm, okay, different, the songs didnt immediately grab me and This Orient was still the standout track for me, but on a second listen it was as if everything fell into place and now I love it. You start hearing all the best bits of every song and combined they make for a really good album. Im just enjoying this, not gonna make comparisons to Antidotes. Hope they will come to Lowlands, it seems likely, 'cause they already play a festival in Belgium, same for The National and because there's already some overlap between some of the artists playing at both, I expect The National and Foals to come this way as well

Hey the Patrick O'Brian is it like an audiobook you're listening to? I saw Foals last night, finally :DD very sweaty and wild. Had a really good time and the new songs sounded pretty good so I'm very excited about the new album. They didn't play any songs like Mathletics or Astronauts And All :( Only songs from Antidotes and like 4 or 5 new ones, really want to see them again but Im sure once the new album is out they'll return for another gig! And I see the Band Of Horses gig already happened, did you go? The other day I saw there was a new song out on the net from the upcoming album I still need to take a listen though, have a good day

Metric was GOOD! Kind of unexpected. I went all Wolf Parade kind of crazy! Their songs are perfect to just go completely wild on and lose yourself in the crowd. Next time I'll be there at 8pm right when the doors open so I can stand at the front row instead of a bit at the back behind two lame girls who just stand unmoving as if they're waiting for the f*cking bus to arrive. I didn't think I was going to like them this much. This kind of made up for not being able to see a band like Foals. No idea I could go completely wild on Metric's music. Can't wait to see them again :)

No problem, I'll get you a ticket. And yes I noticed the ATP tickets were pretty expensive. I wish Foals would make their way to Paradiso again as well, I would do anything to see them live right now.
