nice taste:D

hi

I'm really diggin' the XTC plays, baby

hahaha! who'dve thought, right? i'm a part of this modest mouse-obsessed collective and most of the members are far more talented than me, and every couple of months everyone picks a song and does a cover of it any way that they want, we're 5 volumes deep these days. hey-- if you haven't you should really check out the band Cymbals Eat Guitars, i keep telling people this... they're like 90s modest mouse & built to spill meets a little wilco and a little radiohead... they're recording an album right now with john agnello (who produced kurt vile, dinosaur jr., sonic youth, the hold steady..) and they are seriously. insane. and really young. i think i may have a slight obsession.

hahaha i'm not sure, i do post on there a bit... summerteeth for life! i post on the modest mouse one literally ten times a day, me and my friends dominate it i think. i prefer this site to facebook, definitely. good to see you're still big on wilco

hey seamus my name is Emay, and I hope you get to check out my remake of Karen O's Worried Shoes for my up and coming project! Check it out here: http://vinylmeltdown.com/2010/04/emay-karen-the-kids-

It's okay, it's just you added me a bunch of times haha. It makes me nervous when people can't take no for an answer but you seem nice about it so don't worry about it. You have good taste too.

SpringfieldBob, I don't know you but you keep asking to be my friend. I'm sorry, but I'm not down, so stop asking.

I'm sorry about that, took a little while. There was a guy in the bathroom, he would'nt give me his shirt. I was fighting, like "Give me your shirt, bro!" and he didn't want to give it to me and it was a whole thing..

hahaha, i figured :) and the uk is awesome! i'm going to ireland for st pattys :D which you should appreciate, irish boy. i'm thinking about going to this - http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/iow/2010/lineup.shtml and the lineup isnt even done yet!!

grizzly bear n beachhouse were so good

Seamus, can you send me a link for the atlas sound stuff? I can't find it.

it was a blast! unfortunately i missed tortoise because we got into chicago a lil late but i got to see THE JESUS LIZARD WHICH WAS AT THE TOP OF MY LIST OF REASONS FOR GOING AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!!!!

aw yeah! i see you're a big frightened rabbit/fleet foxes fan.. i haven't gotten to listen to them too much myself, but seeing as how we're so super maybe i should try it

I listened to that one, it was good too, but they weren't too alike. It's a bummer they haven't made more music like Spiders, but their music seems to be cool overall anyway. I'm gonna see them live this August at a swedish festival, that's why I'm trying to get into them.

Good to hear, man!

seamus is cool

J Dilla? All you need is DONUTS.

Right back atcha, slick. Fireworks = Great song or GREATEST song?

I really can't remember... I wrote that ages ago. Pitchfork "lets me down" regularly, but I still pay attention because they're more likely to recommend something brilliant than anywhere else.

no, im not sure if anyway does

haha, fuck. i just realized how many m. ward plays i had in the past 7 days. hoooly.
