na man! Not a modulus bass, a FLEABASS! he has his own brand now! "http://www.fleabass.com/" They are cheap and look/sound so amazing. Don't get a Rick for funk, they are far from a funk bass. They are only really good for dirty sounding bass, and using a pick. You can though get other sounds out of them, like any other bass, but tone was they are pretty restrictive. Can always try Yamahas again, very versatile, but in all honesty, you can't beat a Fender.

Nice as man! My first bass was a Yamaha RBX270! They are very awesome for their price those Yamahas. What bass are you looking at getting next? I want a 'Fleabass' so bad!
