Yeah, I sure do. Most of those plays are from a few years ago before I began to expand my musical tastes, but they're still definatly up there.

Well, i haven't got the new "Broken Social Scene Presents..." albums, but i think You Forgot It In People is my favourite. Especially the few songs from "Anthems for a Seventeen..." through to Lover's Spit. They work so well together. I love how it's just a big family of ridicoulously great musicians coming together and playing music together for the fun of it, you can tell they really just enjoy playing music.

Thanks dude, Yeah i write a decent amount i guess...? Half the time i screw myself over with trying to write in a certain way/genre, so i have a bunch of random all over the place recordings and songs, that really don't have that much direction. I need people to play music with, as half the time in my head i am imagining like at least 10 people playing, but can't exactly execute that by myself.

'teen dream' is pretty fantastic, far more developed than 'beach house' and 'devotion' - the reverse delay and warping under 'Norway' completely blows my mind. You should check out Surfer Blood 'astrocoast', give it another month and it'll be the next hipster-wank-judge-if-you-don't-know-it-yet album

I alway felt a certain bond to 'A Weekend in the City', though 'Silent Alarm' was groundbreaking. 'Intimacy' just didn't light a spark in me as the other two did, but I appreciate them for their earlier efforts and I listen to them often... I will go for the first night of the Sydney Festival, but then I am off to a road trip w/ three friends and I will be back in time for Arctic Monkeys. I am keen on seeing Grace Jones, she is an icon, great looks, awesome vocals and the best James Bond villain, together w/ Christopher Walken as Max Zorin. 'A View to a Kill' must be my favourite James Bond film, together w/ 'From Russia w/ Love'... Anyhow to make you more jealous, Sigur Rós' performance was one of the most capturing of my life, the sound, the atmosphere, it kept me still for the whole time, closing my eyes and having to portray Iceland and all the mixed feelings and slow motion vibe they bring. Truly astonishing, in my Top 5 Favourite Gigs of All Time

... (pt2) the same friend got me into Mew also in 2005 and they will release their new album soon (the first half of 2009). It would be tough w/out Johan, but I am sure they will be able to amaze us and astonish us as before... Did you see Sigur Rós when they came in August for Splendour?!

I saw Bloc Party last year and in 2005 at the Metro, the first time was very memorable, but the second time couldn't top it, still I enjoyed them live very much, especially at the Metro. Last month I didn't want to go because I don't like the new album so new songs would've gotten on my nerves and there wouldn't have been space for the classics. I hear from my friend it was good, but still... I don't regret it... I kinda agree w/ the Depeche Mode fact, but I am more a fan of Black Celebration, Some Great Reward and Violator, there isn't doubt that their albums are classics and deserve a place in modern history. Their new stuff still captures me because they are doing what they are known for and don't just play like a reunion band w/out any new material... W/ the Knife, my friend got me into Deepcuts back in 2005 and I never looked back ever since. The DVD is amazing, like a horror/thriller forest documentary followed by the soundtrack that gives the same vibe over and over...

Mew are amazing, very minimalistic, but yet so epic and capturing. Depeche Mode are living saints that never seem to let me down with each listen of their songs... Regarding my comment, it's positive, so you don't need to stress yourself about it. Didn't mean to cause confusion and I seem to be very mysterious about my answers, as well into which direction they lead to... Nice job listening to the Knife, one my favourite electronic acts and nice Le Specs

Very minimal taste. Like a great Tetris game, everything seems to fall into the right spot with additional space getting ready to be filled up
