It was wonderful! I mean where else can you be amazed at the artistry being displayed before you and end the night by dancing with couleurs! don't know if you've seen them before but they dont sound exactly like the cds, which it's a good thing. They balance rather well the samples and live instruments, and played a great mix of before the dawn/s=y and a couple of dead cities tracks. there's a setlist in the event page, if you are interested.

it is really not very interesting. it was the week of halloween and all i had in my dorm was a pack of tinfoil. & then i was in the car. & decided to document this on my phone. /end. still, awesome antennae are awesome.

Oh man I got a sun burn for not giving up on the heat. It was worth it though. And speaking of my camera, I don't the rain hurt it at all, but something happened and my memory card became "damaged or corrupted", I don't know how but it wasn't wet, and I could take pictures but my camera wouldn't save them like, halfway through SY's set. I hadn't realized this right away, so I lost a lot of good ones. Basically, it sucked. But the D40 ain't a bad camera, I just somehow managaed to fuck something up.

Thanks! But no, I was in the front just behind the barricade (which very nearly fell over when Thurston went into the pit), I didn't have a photo pass or anything. Which is kinda better because usually a press pass will only get you in for the first few songs. But it was really intense in a good way, it was my third time seeing them and it was the first time any kind of mosh pit appeared so that was cool, although I almost got kicked in the head by that kid that kept crowd surfing.

i have not seen this joe's apartment movie you speak of, but it sounds intriguing :3 also oh my god there is a band called eraserheads
