i was originally from blink and then jumped around. After those chat closed, we all used pidgin and had a chat on there for awhile. then it kind of died on from there haha.

That's awesome. I e-dated someone from some room or another for a long time and stopped using AIM somewhere not long into that. I forgot blink was even a room, I remember Metallica was relatively popular. AIM chatters seem so tame compared to what strangers in online communities are like now.
