To be frank, I wasn't talking about the prospect of someone finding the photos tasteless or the fact that they could be interpreted as being on the wrong side of promiscuity. There is always some level of excitement involved, some subtle vocalization of pleasure when a man unhooks a woman's brassiere or runs his fingers over her body in a exploratory way. When a woman posts pictures of herself in the nude, she robs the man of that mystery, that excitement. I believe bookznslutz is a great idea but leaving something to the imagination is more pleasurable than actually seeing it. Permit me to be a little crude here. A woman sleeps with a man who has never seen her in her birthday suit. Now, she may have any given number of permutations and combinations of bodily subtleties - a rosy nipple, a demure cleavage or a stray beauty-mark. When her body is known virtually, the man knows what to expect.

i enjoyed your idea of fat=sexuality, hence, anorexia as a way of controlling sexuality. however i've been working on a differing but related idea - that food is invasive or phallic, therefore limiting food denies this invasion.

It does, in a way. I just wondered at the suggestiveness of the pictures. I mean you own a tumblr page and you obviously know how pictures like that can be misused by reckless people on the interweb. I thought I was the only one interpreting them to my own end,which is why I asked you beforehand if the question was impertinent. There are times when photos of myself never really reveal what I have in mind at the moment nor do they manage to cut through the matter-of-fact routine that my writing builds. I guess it's just me, again. Honestly, I was a little taken aback. This is the first time I came across a tumblr page that specializes in armchair philosophy and also doubles up as a record of personal successes and failures. Well, it is a year of 'firsts'. When you upload pictures of yourself on your tumblr page, do you do it to generate more site-traffic or is it an expression of yourself (sensuality, ennui or otherwise) or is it a bit of both or is it none of the aforementioned?

I see you also like Godspeed and whole array of Post-Rock, have you listened to krautrock much? If you get the opportunity listen to 'CAN' they are my favorite band and their album Tago Mago predates a lot of the experimental elements you can find in bands like Godspeed.
