I would suggest Jóhann Jóhannsson's And In The Endless Pause There Came The Sound Of Bees and Ólafur Arnalds Eulogy for Evolution.

I think that the Talking Heads Psycho Killer version that you're looking for is the Old Grey Whistle Test version.

Of course, I'll be glad! :) Try with Slobodan Trkulja, OUTSTANDING voice, and so much old serbian instruments with meditative sound. Great album is 'Prizivanje kise', I'm sure u'll love it! Also, the soundtrack for the movie 'Before the rain' from group Anastasia is great (macedonian sound). And, don't miss the great kaval player named Angele Dimovski. If u want more, please say! Enjoy!

yeah everyone needs a bit of prog :) you said about how long ago it was since you had heard music that was new to you, that was really strange to me! For me, I listen to too much new music it's hard to keep up and remember all the new stuff I hear! anyway, if you were wiling maybe you'd like to hear some music that me and my friends from university made? http://www.last.fm/music/Fuente/1700%2BRecycled%2BBrothers%2B%252B%2BSisters%2Bof%2BBedlam It's sort of progressive/electronic/jazz/experimental. happy listening :)

yeaah man it's such a weirdly dark atmosphere :) hope i didn't mislead you by saying it's similar to modern classical, it's really just progressive...

great! :) hope you like it. they're fairly similar to modern classical in arrangement and structure but not in instrumentation, that is more jazzy but they're always very strange :)

thanks i'll have that moscow symph one too. I'm thinking of taking For Philip Guston like 1 disc at a time but i wonder would that deprive it of a lot of it's purpose? btw I don't see any magma in your charts if u haven't heard them and are interested in hearing more jazzy/experimental stuff i extremely advise you to listen to their first album 'magma (Kobaia)' it's not considered their best but i think it is but all of their albums are superb.
