I went down the rabbit hole of AI music and musicians today. I am baffled. Is this really a thing? I listened to an artist today that was possibly AI. I use Spotify. . It seems like music should be known and listed as AI. I am so disappointed. What's your take?

Hey Stacy - I hope you're well. I just listened to new Van Morrison , and I loved it. I have had it in my queue for a few weeks - kind of scared to listen. These Legacy artists have been disappointing me in general. The new Streisand album is so bad. It doesn't even sound like her. Somebody is filling her head with crap if she thinks that was good. Everything is auto-tuned, remastered, re-recorded - it's a shame. Anyway...the new-ish Clarance Bucaro is excellent. Nice lead in to the Van. Ciao!

That Allman Brothers is amazing, I think I've heard most of the songs on other albums before but not only that the outtakes are awesome as well. Between Brothers and Sisters and the Skydog box set, the Allmans are well represented this year. If you haven't heard the Duane Allman set yet, it's definitely one you need to hear.

Overall I'd say that recording despite it's deficiencies was amazing! World Keeps Turning was definitely a highlight for me. I want to go back and listen to the concert that came with the latest reissue of Rumors now!

Sounds like you have some good stuff going! I'm enjoying the Fleetwood Mac, wish the recording quality was a little better but the version of Rhiannon sounded amazing. I might get something else in later but we'll see.

I read somewhere that is was taken from an unreleased Patty Griffin album. Totally sounds like something that would fit on her Flaming Red album.

How's that Edie Brickell and Steve Martin album? I was really curious about that when I heard it was coming out. I saw there's a Courtyard Hounds album coming out in July, might not be the Chicks but I'm looking forward to hearing that one. Have you heard Natalies new one? I love it!

Marshall Chapman has come by to sing her newest complements of Annie and I asked her to sing her 1st one for you. It's totally a country album and has worn very well for me since it was released in the 70s.

Do you see Hawks in the db? Loving the Fogerty. He & Seger should do an entire album together....IMHO. Lots of Hartman, nice. He's an all time favorite.

Definitely never enough time. Looks like June 1st I'm seeing a Heart tribute band, that should be a good warm up for the main event. Haven't checked out the Dirty G'uvnahs latest, I've heard a couple of other albums that were pretty good. Have you heard the new Dawes? Those guys put out a really good one this year too.
