Man I can't stand that BisKaidan cover of Suki Suki Daisuki... irks me to no end. Too many assholes probably haven't even heard of Jun Togawa before this either.

BTW... did you listen to the Momoiro Clover Z vinyl... with that room to breath it has, it's so much easier to take in. Plus I reckon the beats sound thicker on some of the tracks, I dunno, I haven't listened to the CD heaps... the rip itself is not 100% perfect, i'd say its 95% great though. Just some clicks and noise I couldnt get rid of, mainly on the last minute or so of the inner grooves.

Also, I just looked on what.cd and once again it angered me. Those people are fucking ignorant assholes- a Japanese album should be tagged in Japanese, not Romaji. Goddamit!!! Gah!

Well keep your eyes peeled on JPS, I've got many more rare Togawa things in my cave. Many people don't even realise that she's been back in the studio recently...

well melt's collage is pretty nifty tbh, as is the 4th world japan collage. um not too sure about labels aside from like psf (though that's more 90s and onwards stuff) and vanity records. my favorite albums off the top of my head are machida machizo's どてらいやつら, haniwa-chan's kanashibari, hallelujahs' 肉を喰らひて誓ひをたてよ, nagisa ni te's on the love beach, the mariah album, various LRD stuff, and [url=https://what.cd/torrents.php?id=72429296]this[/url] comp. and i of course also love japanese city pop. tatsuro yamashita's for you and toshiki kadomatsu's on the city shore are my favorites by far.

have you listened to much japanese music from the 70s/80s? it's like some of the best stuff in the world. kind of unfortunate that korea doesn't have too much of an interesting (at least to me) musical history.

ooh that's a surprisingly great pop song. i've heard of them before but was under the impression that they were yr typical k-indie group with whispery vocals, acoustic guitars, and a record deal with pastel music. thanks! i'll check out that album soon i think. ps nice aunt sally plays boi

The kind people at what.cd never got back to me after 24+ hours in the disabled chat and now my main hard drive with all my music on it crashed. Hopefully I can salvage my 500+ gb collection and get my account enabled, they might enjoy having someone like me around, I had a lot of stuff to share and was looking forward to being a part of the community

oh i wasn't saying it was k-pop (unless you weren't implying that i implied that) but yeah -- the korean music on yr channel is typical of the indie scene nowadays. dream pop-y stuff is huge in korea atm -- check out the record label Pastel for more stuff like that (at least, I'm guessing they still release stuff like that, haven't checked in a while). And Secret eh? You are my poison ~~

Well, I didn't really see k-pop (though I saw yr youtube channel had some korean music) but I feel like k-pop is something that a good chunk of people will exclusively only listen to on youtube since a large part of the appeal for most is the music videos that go along with the songs. I am asian -- 100% korean in fact (that's me in my profile picture getting all the love from the goats). And I love k-pop. I honestly think it's one of the most interesting things happening in the world of music right now, including the industry, it's relation to korean culture/stereotypes, the recent fame, the culture surrounding fans, etc. Plus, it's also /way/ better than western pop imo. Though, I'm probably biased since I'm korean or something.
