Bummer! I went through my bouts of using other music sites earlier in the decade. I stay here due to artist ranking via scrobbles and pulling up my charts when creating topsters graphs for facebook groups. The older site was easier to use than the beta update, which I feel scared away all music nerds and non-nerds who were happy with the layout. Once I found out about Spotify/Last.fm connection, along with universal scrobbler, I could still use this service. Tried using Slacker again after many years. The limited skips are meh. Sorry to hear you left.

I'm not so concentrated on gothic stuff as I listen to a lot of different music depending on my mood, but it seems our tastes overlap quite a bit when it comes to gothic and darkwave stuff! I love that kind of music. So I think we'd definitely have something to talk about! I know some bands you don't know and I'm pretty sure you'll like! Since a digital download is relatively cheap, I have ended up buying it (not listened yet though), but of course it annoys me forking out ANY money for something I can't have a physical copy of... BUT if I don't love it as much as Atheos I might come to the conclusion that I don't NEED a physical copy because it's not something I'll need with me all the time! I think it's an alright compromise in the end...
