Hahah yeah it's very good, I've rewatched it with a bunch of people. To be honest, the sequel is good too, at least I thought it was. From 2003. The Curse movies are also recommended, they have some very creepy scenes in those. I gotta admit the 2003 sequel had a scene that legitimately scared the hell outta me and I didn't wanna leave the room hahaha (of course, you may think it's meh). I'd say the worst of the Ju-on series would be the 2009 movies a.k.a. Black Ghost and White Ghost. Although White Ghost is better than Black Ghost, they still don't hold a candle to the first four movies. I also enjoyed the reboot. I'm hoping there's gonna be more Ju-on installments in the future. The TV series were ok, only the opening sequence stood out to me the most, in my opinion. Ringu is another series that's good, but not as scary or creepy as Ju-on. Ringu 2 had a really good scene too, but I'll give no spoilers of course. Again, a little bit of a late reply because I didn't log in until today.

My sincerest apologies for the late response! It seems my Spotify stopped scrobbling music as well since the 21st of July... but yes! I've watched Sadako versus Kayako. I really enjoyed it. It started off as an April Fool's joke but the reception was so well that they decided, "Ok, why the heck not?" I've watched it a few times. I recall watching it once with my brother and a college friend of his, and the college friend turned to me and said, "From now on, you're never deciding which movie to watch." Hahahah, they didn't like horror as you can tell. What about you, have you watched it? And if so, did you like it? I hope you've been well, btw!

I liked it! I'm actually glad he released the features first as I liked them the least. Which one did you like the most? I like the X2 one and the Try as we might. song the most. What about you? I was actually surprised it was a new EP by him, I thought it was a just random collabs he released. Although as you can see from my "Last 7 Days " range, I generally just listen to Asian music these days (South and East). Also there's NO WAY you listen to that much music, 100k+ plays for DGD? How is that even possible, I thought it was like a few thousand plays at best.

Oh, I found a Pakistani rock song, not sure if you'll like it, but give it a try nonetheless. It's from 2005. The name of the song ("Doorie") means "Distance" in Urdu (the national language of the country). Let me know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF9iqjseKRU

hahaha yeah it's basically a mix of rock genres such as pop punk (state champs, boys like girls), metalcore (misery signals, the amity affliction), post-hardcore (valiant hearts, issues, slaves) to a name a few. growing up i only listened to english-language music but since 2017 ive been listening to asian music (japanese, korean and pakistani). thanks for the nice words though haha. i assume you're pakistani as well? which city are you from if you don't mind me asking? i actually live in europe myself (the netherlands to be precise). i only visit pak every now and then, i wish i could go every year but contrary to popular belief, overseas pakistanis aren't rich except for a select few.

ahh my bad, i assumed you were living in pak. so if you are in england that means your family is most likely from mirpur, correct? haha yeah i know about england having a lot of pakistanis as well as the bad rep they have over there. i have never been to england but i'm going this year, god-willing, to birmingham. your dad is living the good life, i wish i could visit pak every year but sadly i can't. good to see you are a fellow overseas pakistani because then you know how people like us aren't rich by default like the natives assume over there. i imagine getting kidnapped one day by a dacoit group and then they discover they got more money than i do, that'd be pretty funny (although i don't wanna get kidnapped whatsoever)

I haven't gotten around to listening to them yet! I would do it now but my phone is at 2%, I'm going to charge it and when it's charged enough I'll make sure to give it a listen. I'm going to add those songs you mentioned (aside from Bikhra as I already have that one on my playlist) to my playlist in advance so I don't forget (I'm kinda forgetful.. lol, lack of sleep throughout the year has caused this, just today I only slept for three hours). And yeah, I'll PM you my Spotify username, it contains my real name so that's why I'm gonna tell you in private. And no worries, take your time and respond whenever you can and/or are able to. :)

hey! apologies for the late reply (sort of... haven't logged in since months). anyway, it's from a 2002 japanese horror movie called "呪怨" or "ju-on: the grudge". you may know it as "the grudge" from 2004 (which was an american remake).. speaking of which, i'm actually gonna rewatch it tomorrow with some relatives, but i don't think they included that scene in the remake (i could be wrong). i'll let you know after i've seen it. if you're not into horror movies then i wouldn't watch it all, because it's pretty damn scary, especially if it's your first horror movie. japanese horror movies are so good, it keeps messing with you long after the credits have rolled by. when i was new to it, i remember i'd see things in the corner of my eyes, then i'd look into that direction but nothing was there. this would happen during the day. just a heads up!

awesome!! i can hook you up with an online link, it contains english subtitles so let me know if you want it, i'll pm it to you. well what kinda horror movies do you like? fast-paced "in your face" horror or slow-paced, brooding horror? if you like the former, i'd say go with the 2004 remake, if you like the latter, go with the 2002 original. there's another american remake or reboot or bootmake or whatever you wanna call it hahaha but it sucked in comparison. became a cookie-cutter american horror movie in the process. what you see in my avi is only a tiiiiiny part of the movie but i'd say it's worth it nonetheless haha. i'm gonna watch the 04 remake in a few hours, some relatives are coming over. hope it scares them shitless but i doubt it hahaha.

i really like slow burn, psychological horror films. fast paced ones are great but I like walking away from a film still on edge with my mind racing still thinking about it. it’s a more natural horror and when pulled off correctly I think it becomes 10 times scarier than a cheap jumpscare fest anyway. but yeah if you could send me a link to the original that’d be great!

well i watched the 04 remake a few hours ago, like 8 hours ago, and it didn't feature a similar scene. good to hear you like slow burn psychological horror films, then japanese horror might be right up your alley. they tend to stick with you, at least in my experience. especially when i was new to it, nowdays it doesn't have that effect on me. and sweet, check your pm! will send it in a few seconds. gonna hafta look it up first.

I think that's why I like Oathbreaker! Her vocals are surprising and impressive. And also I like that type of hardcore music, I think. Kind of chaotic and unpredictable. I can see some similarities between 10:56 and that track, yeah! Quite liked it. Listening to those 3 songs as I'm writing this. Like Moths to Flames' vocalist sounds so 00s pop-punky, I'm not a fan of those types of voices anymore. But the song itself is nice, unfortunately the vocalist makes me enjoy it way less. Fit For a King and Penance were way more enjoyable, tho I like the screaming in the former more than his regular singing. Also, I really don't pay attention to lyrics in music much unfortunately, so that rarely affects me (I will only notice them if they're really bad, rather than if they're really good). I wish I wasn't like that, but oh well. :P

Yeah I remember that. I kinda miss the old last.fm :P I'm really bad at watching anything myself, I lose interest in stuff so quickly. It's kinda sad haha. That movie sounds quite interesting tho, maybe I should give it a try hahaha. Yeaaaaaaaaah, I got really into dark folk, and darkwave, and shoegaze, and experimental music, and some types of metal. I still don't know my taste, I'm experimenting. But definitely darker, more weird stuff work better for me. Any recs from you, maybe? I don't mind reggae myself, I dislike stuff like mainstream pop/trashy hip hop way more.

AWKWAAAARD hahaha I was hoping nobody would see those links. Anyway, those are some Japanese rom-coms that I have been meaning to watch. Finished one yesterday. Gonna watch another one today. Also, I'm doing well, thank you, hope you are doing well as well! And, yeah, pop punk, I was heavily into it during the early 2010s. I decided 2021 would be the year of post-hardcore but I'm adding metalcore into the mix, provided the lyrics aren't cringy. Got any music recommendations for me? Anything is fine! I see our compatibility is low.

Oh sorry, apparently I had some weird settings on haha. You should be fine now, but we can carry on the conversation here too. I don't mind. Japanese rom-coms sounds like something my sister would watch haha. Have fun! I'm fully out of my pop punk phase now, I think, I listen to quite the opposite (depressing dark stuff) now, but yeah. :P I'm very bad with genre names so I have no idea what post-hardcore is, but artists that I quite like that have hardcore-esque tags would be Oathbreaker (Rheia is a fantastic album), or maybe Birds in Row. Tho idk if they're too heavy for you, especially the former. :D

Wtf this was almost 2 years ago - time flies. I saw a PK political video on Twitter and someone said it's an Indian song so I played the video and the song sounded nice, decided to ask what song and guess what.. Finally got around listening to Arijit Singh. The song was Mast Magan. I know Bollywood has a tendency to write Urdu songs so I thought it was supposed to be a Persian phrase. Turns out, it's actually Hindi. No wonder I didn't understand it except for the word mann which also means heart in Punjabi. I don't know if I said it before but I am an Urdu-speaking Punjabi. I can't speak Punjabi though I can understand it decently.

Speaking of late replies, I'm guilty as charged for that particular crime as well so... xD Btw, maaan, I used to LOVE Marianas Trench! I got into them like, idek, maybe 5ish years ago? They are EPIC. Hey! Thank you. Likewise, your taste seems cool! Sorry for the late reply, I almost never open this site anymore. If you go through my stats, you'll see that I've pretty much compltetely grown out of pop punk a few years ago, that's why I don't listen to WATIC or pretty much any other solely pop punk band. I've kinda moved on to... alternative/hipster/experimental genres, and rock/metal. Only occasionally I listen to pop punk. So, unfortunately, I can't really help you with new pop punk releases, may I interest you in some weird hipster music or pre-2000 rock/metal? [/sarcasm]

Oh! I like the fact that "Down for the Ride" is your favourite as well! It's so pretty. But no way! I haven't heard that! Honestly, I wasn't too familiar with Jonny Craig, but by reading your message, I think he's better off on his own as well. I'm actually really curious to hear what he's been working on. And it's kind of comforting to hear that you've met him and that you experienced him as a nice person. But that's a bit too much. Lol. In Denmark, it's like 8°C today, and the day before yesterday, it was 20°C... This planet is messed up. The memory is the first thing that starts to lack, you know! Lol, that's funny. I actually find out the exact same way! I was actually pretty affected for a few days. TGY's music means so much to me, and hearing a new vocalist (who's pretty decent...) was just... wrong, you know? My thoughts on the sexual harrassment allegations.. Uhm, well.. To be fair, I can definitely distinguish between the artist and the "violator". I don't think an artist makes bad or ugly art that I distance myself from, just because he's a creep. Lol! What do you think? I still think that Sam has an amazing voice, and I'd even think that if I'd been one of his "victims". I'm from Denmark, actually. It was US Slaves I was talking about, and yeah! I heard the acoustic album, and it was SO great. Omg. I loved it. Down for the Ride with Jessie Abbey is probably my favourite on that album. It's so beautiful, and I love to sing along.

Yeah professor i pay my taxes like everyone else and taxation is theft so yeah i pay fines. Thats hella funny lmao. I'm planning to go into psychology, sociology, or criminal justice or something like that. The humanities and social sciences are the most interesting to me mostly cuz im too dumb for STEM lol. I got accepted into a few colleges already and theyre all really good. I'm waiting to hear back from UC santa cruz (my #1 school) for legal studies and if UCSD accepts me for either psych or soc then i'll be over the fucking moon. I usually save the money i earn but i buy records and new shirts and stuff sometimes. I just follow the religion i identify the most with honestly we're pretty chill in my family i think my brothers a little more on the atheist side so it doesnt really matter to us. I speak three languages (english, afrikaans at home, and french) so sometimes i'll just interject a random afrikaans thing or a french word into an english sentence with friends its funny
Akcje
-
hannahbasedgod
Lolol afrikaans is a very easy language to learn theres only one conjugation for all verbs. Example is ek is (i am), jou is (you are), hy/sy is (he/she is), ons is (we are), jy is (you [plural/formal] are), hulle is (they are). The very strange part of it is the negations since we use the double negation. Like if i wanna say that i didnt go to school today i say ek het nie vandag skool gegaan nie (literally "i had not today school went not"). Sometimes the sentence structure is a little funky but you get used to it lol. Yep i put up with it for a year and now my manager has questions about it....... but i gotta set those boundaries sooner or later. I mean im jewish but my mom is christian so we observe both christmas and hanukkah which is not a federal holiday. MLK day is much like labor day or memorial day in that we dont really celebrate it we just know what theyre in honor of. And we take the monday of those weekends off of school and stores have adjusted hours and sometimes sales

My birthday is feb 18 so im not 18 until then lol. At work we generally pool the tips and then split them among the people who worked that week. Theres a bit of math that goes into it but basically we add up all the tips we got that week and then dish them out to people based on the hours they worked ie the people who worked more get more tips and the people who worked less dont get as much but its all proportioned and rounded accordingly. For me its usually only a few dollars like in the range of $8-20 depending on how much i worked and how well people tipped etc. Tips are done weekly on tuesdays. On holidays like thanksgiving and christmas we usually just split the tips and give them solely to the people who worked that day

Nee ek verstaan dit ongelukkig nie (means no unfortunately i dont understand that). Theres some level of mutual intelligibility but i dont understand dutch at all i think dutch speakers have a better time understanding that bastardization of a language lol. The old term is boer which means farmer in afrikaans but the dutch south africans are usually just called afrikaners. It also only applies to the dutch bc a lot of white people there are of english descent after britain colonized it after the boer wars. Lol yeah tell me more on discord ill hyu there soon. Dude sounds like a piece of work for sure. Ive had this schedule for about a year or so now and its kind of ridiculous. I should have put my foot down forever ago but i decided the money was worth it and at this point its really not. Im just here for the free shit at this point. ^^ forgot to add that the overtime for 8hrs/day or 40hrs/wk is something i legally cant work because im still in school and i turn 18 next month so i cant get paid overtime which is time and a half. So if i get paid 12.23/hr usually that would make the overtime pay 1.5x that. I can only get overtime working the federal holidays and only certain days qualify for it. I got overtime working on christmas day and thanksgiving day as well as new years day. We're also supposed to split that days tips amongst all the people who worked on that day but that hasnt been happening for a while............

Lmao dude i could go on for centuries about the shit that happens at starbucks theres soooo much drama here. The company has gone downhill so much in the last year alone (ive been working here for the lesser part of 2 years) and i feel like even if i transfer to another store i'd just find different problems there. I had to talk to my doctor about my mental/physical health etc and she says if changing my availability doesnt work then i should just quit. Whats been happening is i close EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT from 4pm-10pm and then i work 9am-5pm every saturday and sunday thats literally 20 hours in those 3 days alone. My weekends are nonexistent and that job is so physically and mentally draining that i cant come home and do schoolwork i either pass out or just mindlessly browse the internet. So now i'm not even gonna work fridays or saturdays anymore and just close every few days and only get 10 hrs/wk. If she doesnt like that i hope she has fun with the badly trained new hires in my place
