Origibabes :') Die nummers waren echt goud! Net even een nostalgisch Sugababes momentje op youtube gedaan, de Round Round video <3 Ik vind Angel Olsen mooi, maar het matcht even niet met wat ik nu vooral luister... meer country/rock/metal. Maar ken je Joan Shelley? Haar eponieme plaat heeft mooie teksten en zij een heerlijk melancholische stem. En ik kwam weer terug bij het prachtige triphop album van Elsiane - Mechanics of Emotion - over bijzondere stemmen gesproken! Chairlift heb ik ooit wel geluisterd, ga haar opzoeken :)

Unfortunately, Trust was kinda painful to listen :/ It sounded too weighted and outdated to me. The whole construction reminded me of grotty gay club in the late 80s. So if I haven't completely offended you with my disdain of your current fave, I humbly ask for another recommendation :P

As it stands, there are over ten albums on Spotify by different bands called Trust, so I was checking to make sure I got the right one :P ...coincidentally, after I asked about which album, the track Gloryhole came up on my recommendation radio. Not sure it's my cup of synth, but I'll pay the full album some respect in the near future....even more puns!

STARS! I got hooked on them with Set Yourself on Fire, loads of really enjoyable songs on that one. Actually, it was the remix album that first introduced me to them. However, Five Ghosts, and the accompanying EP The Seance, is an absolutely amazing collection of their work. Yeah, I'm kinda returning to music with a bit more "flava", hence the overload on Purity Ring and Grimes. Where should I start with Trust. I TRUST you to steer me in the right direction.

Thanks! Yeah I'm super stoked to see Exitmusic, and this will be my fourth time seeing grimes. Seattle is a huge music hub, we get a lot of great acts come through, prob is I never have enough money to see all of the ones I want to!

Oh, das handig.. als je daar toch werkt ;) Ik vond het wel mooi eigenlijk.. alleen beetje jammer van het einde.. was wel aandoenlijk. Weet niet of je dat hebt mee gekregen, dat ze haar tekst kwijt was? Haha. Klopt dat het bij Damien Jurado was. Ik heb deze foto gejat van 3voor12/groningen hahaha. Serieus? Dat is wel heel gek... rechts of links van de foto? Ik zit rechts van Damien zeg maar.. haha :)

Dus ben inderdaad erg blij met Bon Iver en de line-up van Noorderzon is echt ongelofelijk!!!
