I listened to it a few times last night and like it. St. Vincent sings a duet with him! I didn't know that would be on there. I'm mostly going to the concert because Laura Marling is opening and she's on my "to see before I die" list. I'm expecting it to be amazing. Tell me how Youth Lagoon is in turn.

Can I confess something? I tell you this as an artist, I think you'll understand. Sometimes when I'm driving... on the road at night... I see two headlights coming toward me. Fast. I have this sudden impulse to turn the wheel quickly, head-on into the oncoming car. I can anticipate the explosion. The sound of shattering glass. The... flames rising out of the flowing gasoline.

Good, good. Stacking that paper, dreaming of far off places. NYC is among them, but certainly not the farthest. What have you been up to?

Yeah I'm still going. Haha I bet it was him. Or maybe it's his secret hipster doppelganger. Where are your seats? I'm in the first row of the balcony.

Yes, yes it does. I realize now that right below my post there is more talk of the National. Synopsis: It's awesome and I wish I could steal his voice.

The National are on my increasingly long list of things to listen to, I only know their song Bloodbuzz Ohio which I think is great. I'll check out that song then, and add Cut Copy to my list! I'll report back when I've given a listen. P.S. Dumb and Dumber most definitely does fucking rule! "Big gulps, huh? Well... see ya later"

Topped-out supermeter is very cool indeed! I like to scout last fm when I can't sleep to find if my mind exists somewhere else. So far I think you're winning! (It all depends on how funny you find 'Dumb & Dumber') As for recommendations, it's tough (you've almost 1500 bands!) so I am having to resort to great songs: Dion - 'Runaround Sue' is a beautiful oldie, Jonathan Richman 'I'm a Little Dinosaur' is more smile-inducing than almost any other song on Earth. A great band I see you haven't listened to it Shonen Knife! (aka 少年ナイフ ) who are sonic sugar. They're in NY in October and their shows (though much more modest) rank near The Flaming Lips in terms of fun-ness! Do you have any good recommendations for me? (I'm sure you will)
