Soulmates! Satan vad din musik verkade matcha min. Senaste fyndet i lådan är Flashbulb. Hamnar någonstans mellan amon tobin och boards of canada och låter därmed jävligt bra.

Ah that sucks. Makes me feel happy that I don't have school. Even though after that I remember how much my future will suck. But oh well. I've heard some LatSfG songs before, didn't like them much. Listened to the album, think they're better but still not really my thing. You should check out Alcian Blue's S/T album, when you have time. They're a mix of post-punk and shoegaze. Very awesome stuff.

They were nice, especially Clad in Darkness. But nothing really outstanding for me. Anything else I should check out?

Lets see...If you like dark ambient then get "Knive" by Svarte Greiner. It's way better than anything I've heard in dark ambient. Check out Badlife. It's kind of a mix of post-punk, doom metal, sludge, psychedelic, shoegaze and black metal. You can find a lot of stuff here : http://badlife.bandcamp.com/ And finally Lycia. They're like really dark shoegaze. Darkwave, whatever you want to call it. Kind of reminds me of The Angelic Process at times except minus the noise and a lot more ethereal. Get "Cold", it's amazing.

Hey! Happy belated New Year and all. Hehe just stay alive this year, like previous years ;) Last.fm didn't catch your second attempt and I was able to listen to a few songs. It's very nicely composed indeed, but it's too bad that some of the recordings have glitches. Thanks for the link, I will have to look for more of his music :] I hope he can find a band/a few people to play with to add more dynamics to the songs, little imperfections like volume differences in the drums add a lot to songs.

Jag gillar verkligen Dekadens och skulle nog hålla den som deras starkaste släpp såhär långt. Hoppas dock inte de försöker fortsätta i samma stil utan kör mer likt Konkurs på nästa platta då jag skulle säga att Dekadenslåtarna är lätta att tröttna på. I vilket fall tror jag att vad de än gör på nästa skiva kommer jag vara nöjd med eftersom jag verkligen älskar allt de gjort hittils.

I have that Caspian album you're referring to, but I forgot to add it to my normal playlist so I hardly ever listen to it. It's a great album so thanks for the reminder ;) Have you noticed our music compatibility bar is fully red now? Heya. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's slowly changing genres :) Mogwai is a great band to get deeper into post rock. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their albums. I'd have to say that Mr Rock is their best album so far though. Rock Action also stands out from the rest. I can recommend you listen to them if you're in the mood. You might also like the band World's end Girlfriend, album Hurtbreak Wonderland. It's not so much post rock, but it's a mixture of several genres. Have these albums a go, you'll probably like them!
